I don't know... It's one of those stories where you have it figured out well before it ends anyway. I bought it when it first came out and plowed through it pretty quickly. I'll never forget that scene with the first smoking walking thing. My CRT had just the right amount of brightness to it.

How can anyone see this as anything but the best game in the series?

Only flaws I can see compared to the first game is that you can't explore the town as much and enter unique stores or alleyways or other nooks and crannys to stock up on items , and the enemies don't feel as aggressive or dangerous to you as in other games.

It's up there with ff7 as most liked yet least played game. If either game is in someone's top 5 you can be sure they likely didn't beat it or even play the fucking game.

legit question. how many of you would stay until the end next to your wives if she would have that form of cancer? assuming she is the true fantasy soulmate for you personally, that every sane man craves for. subjectively i'd stay until the last second then suffer in silence and isolation in a wooden cabin for the rest of my days. objectively i have no bloody idea and hope i won't even find out.

Probably stay until the end and then kill myself after a few weeks because I don't know how I could ever be happy again.

Realistically I'd support her til the end, and be a single dad destroyed by the death of his wife. I'd have a decent relationship with our daughter but I wouldn't be able to be the same man I was before her passing. I get night terrors about this exact situation on a near monthly basis
