Can we get a regular Fire Emblem thread about the entire series please?

FE6 rng is broken, 28% is practically a guaranteed miss yet it hits more often than 70%+

Yeah, it's my favorite game overall but the double roll system rng used in the gba games is fucked.

lol no

Thanks for bumping (:

prolly not, sorry user, here's a bump to page one though.

Playing through Path of Radiance right now. Boyd is a fucking tank

It's factually not broken, at least not in a way that'll actually feasibly fuck you over.

>Want to replay Sacred Stones
>Remember the early game
>Remember the mid game
>Stop wanting to play Sacred Stones
Happens every time with this fucking game. I just wanna get to all the fun stuff at the end. Also is there a reliable way to grind for money post game? I've always wanted to trying doing a 100% but I'm worried about my weapons running out.

Boyd is great, his only real flaw is that he's not mounted. Even having bows is fine dude to his high str.

I love my queen Edelgard's extremely smelly feet!

FE8 is piss easy and short as fuck though, what's the problem? If you want to blaze through it you unironically can have Seth solo the first half even on hard. At worst Franz may need to help out and Vaneesa can taxi people across the map.

It's broken in the sense that it lies to the player.

>edelgard
cringe
>stinky feet
based

There are less obvious ways to falseflag as an edelgardfag. Try shitposting on r/edelgard if you want actual autistic replies.

to the anons who posted the other night, new mystery lunatic did not get less bullshit after the prologue. it is incredibly gay still, why is fire emblems insistence of 'difficulty' just making all your units get literally 2 shot and half the maps be completely reliant on getting a lucky dodge to even make it to the next round.

In that case why are you only complaining about 6 and not all of the hit rates from 6-13? The only difference in 6 is that you can very VERY rarely miss a 100 in it, and that the hit rates overall are lower due to low weapon accuracy.

>Feet
very based

kill yourself my man

That's because of double roll rng where it rolls twice and gives you the better outcome. You wanna know what single roll looks like? Go play XCOM or FEs 1-5, and the remakes of 1-3 (11, 12, and 15). FEs 6-10 and 13 are the games that use double roll. FE 14 (aka Fates) uses a hybrid roll system where it uses single roll under 50% and double roll over 50% This sounds better on paper, but in practice it just pissed everyone off.

I have no idea how Three Houses works.

The problem is that he got bored because Sacred Stones is a shit game.

You'll love lunatic reverse user.

Yeah I don't really care for FE12's bullshit difficulties as it just comes down to minmaxing Kris and cheesing bosses until they run out of their weapon.

>in 6 is that you can very VERY rarely miss a 100
I don't buy it.

It's a basic 2rn system you dumbass

It's a 1 in 3 million chance

it's stupid rare though, you'll literally never encounter it

Echidna is a trash unit

Alright then, my only real experience with Fire Emblem was a single playthrough of Awakening, which I really enjoyed. I didn't play any of the later ones because it looked like the series went all on in the waifufaggotry portion. What's a good classic FE to play?

7, 8, 9, maybe 11. 7 has a big ass tutorial so you might not want to do that though considering you've already played an FE.

Based bernie bro

So 11 is Shadow Dragon on the DS? I've heard mixed things about that one. Would you say it's better to play the DS version, a fan translation of the original or the official Switch release?

Honestly it's down to how much you're fine with playing with all the jank of literally the first game in the series, like they're essentially the same game but 11 is more streamlined and modern.

Awesome. Thanks user, I'll check them out.

I actually believe they're bots. If you take a look at the replies they're the exact same word for word.
