I've loved this guy since 1996.
Twinsanity was my favorite and I want a remake with full development and all the cut content and ideas.
What's your favorite Crash game? Mine are probably 2 and CTRNF. Although the PS1 version of 2 since the NST made Crash control a lot worse.
>Ki⅃⅃ mɘ!
wtf no crash would never write that wtf im literally crying and shaking rn
I like all the ND games (sans some of the vehicle sections in Warped), the handhelds minus Purple, CNK and the remakes.
Honestly I think that Purple and Boom Bang are the only really bad Crash games, even the Radical games are enjoyable, although the fucked up designs is a shame.
2 and CTRNF are my favorites as well Tbh, Warped would have been my favorite if it was harder and had less vehicleshit levels (Although most of those levels were still solid unlike WOC's levels)
Was Crash 4 any good?
How do we tell Craptivision that About Time = Bad and Nitro Fuelled = Good?
It's not like the latter was even sexist or anything.
It was okay, the gameplay was great minus the Cold Hard Crash-tier box hiding. It didn't really feel very "Crashy" to me, though, since a lot of the game took place in alternate dimensions that were intentionally out of place. The best levels in the game are the ones in Cortex's Castle.
The Radical Games don't feel like Crash to me at all. I still think the worst is WoC.
4's problems stem from the fact that out of the 3 companies to handle these remakes and revivals you have TFB trying to reinvent the wheel doing drastic redesigns or reiterations just for the sake of it. Then it tries to market itself as a true sequel to Warped while having things that would turn off or repulse your average Crashfag. Some of the reasons people got into Crash aren't found in 4.
>The Radical Games don't feel like Crash to me at all.
They are weird to me. The locations and music remind me a little of Crash 1, and it does the same "visual journey" with its level themes that Crash 1 does, but the writing and character designs feel way off. They are funny though, and I appreciate that they tried something new that stood well on its own at least. Too bad Crash Landed got cancelled, it could have ended up being Radical's best.
>Visual Journey
That was one thing that CoTT did that I liked . Like how you go from the jungle of the first world to a logging camp tot a volcano and it's not instantaneous. I takes like 3 or four levels to get there. MoM obviously does that too but in a open worldish sort of way Jak does.
I wish more Crash games did the show not tell method of conveying the levels and story. Seeing Cortex Castle from a distance or even the 2nd island was some cool shit for me as a kid and its so simplistic. Its this air of intimidation you rarely see in platformers.
I never understood the appeal.
>run on a straight path avoiding obstacles
Literally Temple Run for boomers.
All of the ND games are great, 2 and CTR being the best. I also like Wrath and Nitro Kart despite their jank, I also remember liking Titans as a kid though it's a case of "good game, bad x game".
Loved the ND games, but Twinsanity has a special place in my heart. I think it's because when I was a kid, I only "borrowed" the games from my brother and the PS1, but TS was the first Crash game I owned.
I love Nina!
I don't think it capitalizes on having 3 dimensions to any substantive degree. Most of the time it plays like a 2.5D platformer.
Yeah, they're pretty fun.
Where the fuck is the solo Cortex game?
Yes. I got into Crash in 1997 and ever since then it's been one of my favorite IPs.
In the vault with Twinsanity 2
Twinsanity uses the 3d space pretty well
>pic
cute as fuck
ANY CRASH BASH CHADS?

Fuck off Bash virgin.
Maybe if it actually had more than a handful of unique mini-games
>replace the 2 Bandicoots with the 2 Cortexs
Could be really good and would be a nice, fresh experience. As long as the gameplay isn't like Cortex's gameplay in 4 though. He felt stiff and boring to me.
I was surprised to find I really liked his gameplay. If they added auto aim, better hitboxes for his laser and other options for platforming besides turning enemies into bounce platforms I could get behind it.
I'll be doing the crystal glitch next time.
Activision should get this guy as art director for next Crash game, his art style is really similar to what original trilogy was going for.
It's kinda ugly.
