The moment To The Edge started (when you unlock his fight) was great. But as a character he isn't as fun as Emet-Selch since you had so much time developing him in comparison to Elidibus.

Sure, Shadowbringers' story wrapped up this recent patch and in about a month or so the game's gonna start setting up the events for the next expansion.

XIV still attempts to have an actual story unlike most other MMOs where the story is just a shallow string of events used to dress up "kill 5 fauna" quests.

he could have been a lot cooler if he actually managed to accomplish something. idk, maybe if you had to wait months in between patches (i only just started playing again after a two year break in may, had lots of catching up, and blew through the shb stuff in about a month) it might have helped hype him up as something more than a disappointment that lasted a few quests before he got his shit pushed in. his ending was sad though.

Because XIV has good writing that is occasionally wasted on the kind of braindead retards and parsetrannies who play MMOs. Imagine another JRPG with "refugees from a conquered nation" as a problem where the refugees aren't treated as perfect little do-no-wrong angels instead of the rapey dindus mhiggers are shown to be.

I guarantee Lahabrea didn't die from that shit.
