Confirmation that Aria is the Asari commando that Wrex had a duel with but wasn't able to kill.

A new fucking game. I don't want old content again. I also don't need a remaster, the old games still look amazing today.

eh, maybe for 2 and 3 they haven't aged terribly, but 1 has aged pretty badly graphically.

worse in every way to the originals, as is every modern remaster/remake.

I honestly will not care if its a texture upscale kinda remaster. 2 and 3 already have good graphics. As for ME1 if they do a full remaster like with environments and stuff I will buy it, if its good...

it will probably be worse across the board, de souled and slathered in meme effects, probably with worse music and sounds too

Mass Effect was never good.

I wanted to add that afterwards. Yeah, several spots don't look THAT amazing like Garrus' face, but I mean it's still look good/okay today.

>Hopes
Entire Andromeda team is executed on livestream.
>Expectations
The same Mass Effect trilogy, but running at some meme resolution and frame rate for consoles.

(You)r opinion is probably the most garbage one I've read this week.

Visually the worst thing about 1 is all the copy/pasted and reskinned assets. 2/3 might have gutted the inventory but at least every item was unique.

Old games still look and play just fine for the most part.
Only reason to ‘remaster’ it is for cash and the original ME wasn’t pozzed enough by todays standards.

made sense tho, pre-fab construction.. most things would look the same.

>Yeah, several spots don't look THAT amazing like Garrus' face
That was a bug, but yeah some bits are not as good now without the texture mods. You can improve Garrus' face with a change to texture LOD settings in an ini file.

Hard for me to get excited for a remaster unless they actually throw in something new.

It's just kind of a depressing reminder of how long it's been since we've had a new Mass Effect to look forward to.

I

Have wondered about you

pre-fab everything gets boring after a while.
>most armor uses the same model
>most guns use the same models
>most dungeons and planets use the same prefabs
>most areas just use generic enemies that all act exactly the same
>every once in a while find an actually unique piece of content like where you get a flashback to early humanity but is obviously made on zero budget and not as cool as the devs wanted
if there's one thing i want a remaster to improve it's the side-content in me1.

Getting all the DLC in one place will be nice at least

I want a turian BF

Suddenly reminded that I never have played Bring Down the Sky.

I heard that I didn't miss much, but it's interesting to remember that there's an old piece of ME content I never got to.

ME is a pretty great setting. They could easily reboot it and just shove the reapers way in the back ground. Kinda fucked themselves over with them in the trilogy.
Tell you want, reboot, do the same kinda thing andromeda did but don't set it in another fucking galaxy. Set it right when humanity is branching out after meeting the rest of galactic society and is eager to claim worlds and influence. Your source of conflict is than humanity is making waves and pissing of the batarians. If you really have to have the reapers be present you can find hints of them way off in the distant edges of the galaxy.
I'd personally be cool with not even having humans present or letting the player pick whatever race they want but you know that shit would never fly

Yeah you don't miss much but depending on your choice at the end of it, you can get war assets in ME3. If you complete the other DLC, Pinnacle Station, Shepard gets an apartment, but there's next to nothing there.

There was always plenty of room for prequels and inter-equals between humanity joining the council and the ME3 war.

It would just have the depressing overhanging feeling of knowing that any new character we play as or meet is a year or two away from total Armageddon.

there's like 30 years tops with a hard "everyone probably dies" stop at 3.
>It would just have the depressing overhanging feeling of knowing that any new character we play as or meet is a year or two away from total Armageddon.
Exactly, which is why it would be a bad idea. You couldn't actually do anything meaningful.

I just wanted a Mass Effect version of Firefly. Which I guess is what Andromeda kind of wanted to be, but didn't really pan out.
