I just let my hair grow and then when they become annoying and the mustache/beard starts getting in the way of eating/drinking and my hair starts getting into my eyes I shave it all off, usually every 6-10 months

I usually groom myself a goatee since I unfortunately have a bald spot on my beard meaning I can't fully grow it.

I believe that was intentional, given he's supposed to be weird-looking in the books.

Short full beard (like 1cm length more or less) which I do maintain. Haven't been clean shaven in 10 years.

Clean shaving always gave me razor bumps though. Rather not deal with that shit.

when it comes to mustaches it's not like beards where certain beards only work with certain jaws. the mustache is about the quality and thickness; if you can't grow a nice thick mustache, nobody gives a shit about your mustache and if it's thin it'll be a molestache and everyone will think u look like a pedophile
