>XSX
$10 to play multiple games vs PS5's $70 for one game
>PS5
movies and a PS3 game remake

Ps5. Because that’s the one I preordered

PS5 > Xbone 1.5
Trump > Biden
Ass > Tits

SeX, offers a much better ecosystem to play stuff on. The lack of good first party games are a thing, but I get the feeling that it's not going to be an issue in the long run.

As a PCfag, I'm cautiously optimistic for the PS5 controller and hoping it'll be a nice controller for vidya. Got a family member who's getting a PS5 so I'll be able to test it out and see how it feels.

Absolutely based

Console
>pay-gated online (riddled with ads)
>expensive proprietary peripherals
>games rarely discounted
>inevitable double dip for S version
>no backward compatibility
>CONFIRMED! Backward compatibility gets abandoned
>only ever ahead of PC by 6-12months of initial launch
>experience limited to console standards
>mods repackaged as pay to play DLC or "micro-transactions"
>censored games
>censored chat
>plays newest games on limited settings
>library limited to current games and whatever they permit from older systems
>limited to whatever controller they release

PC
>free online
>upgrade at your price/pace
>game sales so frequent you backlog for a decade
>can buy/trade parts instead of replacing whole system
>backward compatible
>outpaces most consoles for years until next gen
>totally customized experience
>free mods
>censored games can be uncensored
>plays games on whatever settings you can manage
>plus higher res/draw distance with mods
>library literally goes back to the beginning of PC
>can emulate arcades and consoles
>play with any controller you want

I would be on PC long ago if it had games.

PC has more games than any console will ever have

PC has more games than every console ever made.

Left: FFXVI (best version) , RE8 (best version) , Ghostwire Tokyo (best version) , Starfield, The Elder Scrolls VI, Avowed, Fable (all on Game pass, the latter 5 day 1)
Right: sony shovelware like HZD2, Gow5, Ratchet and clank, old ports, no Starfield, no The Elder Scrolls VI

Im not interested in 30 years old games or assfaggots.

More games than every console combined, and emulates older consoles and arcades. Also, ports.

Sony produced a shitty console what will still be successful because of the games. XSX is a great piece of hardware but nothing else really.

I legit once wanted to build a PC for emulation but after looking at exclusive PC games or the lack of them I quickly dismissed that idea. Cant surive on console ports you know.

Ps5: chad

Sexbox: chad

Switch: soiboy

PC: incel

Agreed.

The SeX is the better console but having a PC makes it completely worthless so it's shit and the PS5 is way better for the exclusives. Although Sony looks like they want that PC money too now so their exclusives might be timed releases instead going forward, we'll have to see.

On SeX I can load a game faster than a PS5, which I got cheaper and then I can resume the game (without loading it again) until 100%. From a UX point of view, SeX is simply objectively better.

Will I miss out on a few exclusives? Sure, for a while. Then in 2 years I'll buy a 2nd hand PS5 and complete said exclusives or watch them on YouTube (because most of them will be movie-games, let's be real).

The rational, cheaper and better option is Xbox, simple as that.

Bump

if I dont like any of the ps5 exclusives and will mostly be playing games available on both consoles, should I just get the xbox? (I dont have a gaming pc and dont want one)

Yes

Op here. How do I tell whether Xbox one games are series x enhanced?

Honestly every single piece of information so far makes it clear that the SeX is superior, I don't see why would anyone buy PS5 at this point.
But I don't really see why would anyone buy consoles in the first place, since PC is objectively better. Always.

Seperate filter in the X/S UI

where/when the fuck can one buy one of these for MSRP??
