Is Graveyard Keeper any good? I played it for maybe two hours, liked the art-style and art direction but kinda got bored. Just felt like a less-good Stardew Valley.

Yeah it's good but it gets really grindy and really obscure as to what exactly you're supposed to be doing later on.

No, it's widely regarded as super tedious. Haven't seen any good rebalancing mods either which is a shame.

You can bumrush the earlygame just by figuring out how to do the church graveyard and get high skulls.
But you eventually get to the point where it's very grind.

I always felt like the latter two were very bloated with non-farming stuff and their graphics never appealed to me, which is like 50% of the appeal of a farming simulator.

I do, but only because stardew doesn't shove that cringelord faggot romace/relationship niggery in your face. Yeah it's there in the game, but you can completely ignore thots and chuds if you choose too, and the game doesn't punish you for it.

Unless faggot jap shit like RF and HM which are literally only there to give desperate jap virgins a way to vicariously pretend they have a girlfriend/wife.

every female character got a girly girl make over more or less. you don't want to know what they did to her.

the art director didn't understand what made their designs so unique and iconic and thought they could just change them by making them more pretty and more generic anime waifu like.

It's an action RPG with all of the elements of Harvest Moon/Stardew. The townsfolk are also way more likable and less surface-level stereotypes (for the genre). There's lots to do and while farming isn't the biggest draw it's not put on the back burner or forgotten. It's a great game.

Stardew Valley actually does have action RPG elements, but is far more focused on farming, which I always thought all three games were supposed to be good at, in the first place.

Stardew has light action elements in the mines. Rune Factory is an action RPG before anything else and the farming elements are deeper than Stardew. I love Stardew but RF4 is just better in every way.
