Gotta agree with you. Everyone constantly memes about SC1 being infinitely superior to SC2 but ZvZ is just shit to watch. Would it kill for a single balance patch to give it some life?

Starcraft players (Korean ones especially) are incredibly autistic about any balance and believe no matter how small of a change is made that it will have drastic effect on the entire game.

I'm not gonna lie and say ZvZ is my favorite matchup, but PvP is still the worst IMO, for both SC1 and SC2. Just for the sheer amount of anticlimactic games.

Anything you change is going to have knock-on effects to the other matchups unless you do something incredibly specific, like give Overlords the ability to cast a version of Plague that only targets biological air units.

If I wasn't so worried about ASL going down the shitter I probably wouldn't even tune into the finals

Its not zergs fault they only have like, 3 units for the first 10 minutes. Its just such a volatile matchup from my understanding. If you get greedy and expand at all you just fuckin die to early pressure and its a wrap.

not a fan of mirror matches in general, but ZvZ is only horrible imo, because we got flooded by it.
with Zerg having the strongest players currently and the extreme SHIT Ro16 groups this was sadly unavoidable, besides Flash meme magic.
