It's just the best thing

Runs great. Easy simple. Probably great for devs. Controller looks comfortable af. Gonna buy it.

Man as much as I like gamepass and the inter-connectivity between systems their going for I do kinda wish it had more exclusives. Because of the direction they're taking I don't see a reason to just play PC and buy a playstation since I haven't bought one since the PS2.

I never owned playstation ever. Only SEGA system. And later Switch. So it's easy for me. And it's the only system running phantasy star at the moment, and will get later phantasy star new genesis.
The exterior design is a little boring I guess but I can live with that.

>Probably great for devs.
Developing for 2 SKUs for no fucking reason for one console SOUNDS GREAT

FUCKING RETARD

PHIL HIMSELF LITERALLY SAID ITS GONNA BE HARDER ON DEVS LMAO

>no games
>worse bc than on the PS5
>old ui
>old controller
How does microsoft always fuck up so hard?

I'm not sure about the rest but playstation controllers always feel mushy af...

>the exact same controller as the Xbox One
>it's not even the Elite model 2

WHY

Feel better to touch imo.

I skipped ps4. Got xbox one hueg as a gift, with such thoughts about ressurgence of old IPs, like banjo, battletoads, conker, voodoo vince, maybe even fucking blinx etc, offcourse there was a promise of scalebound etc. Safe to say, I was really dissapointed. Thought that next time, I'm coming home to Sony. Then, by the end of lifecylce, my huegbox still grew on me with its deals, soundless operation, chunky controller. Came to really appreciate it. I think I'll stay with ms, considering that Sony has tranny movies and literally one game this past gen.

Elite Is too expensive, they wont give it to you by default. But all in all, xbox controller Is almost perfekt as it Is.

I don't know if I'm considering getting an xbox or not, but I was wondering, can you buy xbox 360, xbox one x, etc games on the microsoft store or do you need the disc itself to play backward compatible games?

Report shill threads

MS store Is enough.

If you don't have a decent PC, absolutely buy it. PS5 is literally made for non-white people.

Oh that's good, it's probably hard to find the discs for older games.

I wish it was made for yellow people. They said fuck you and even removed the staple circle confirm layout. Looks like Switch +Box/PC is masterrace this gen

Cool.

I already own a PC though so no point. Haven't even touched a single MS 1st party title either despite being able to since Halo is a necromanced IP and shit currently, Gears is another necromanced IP whose appeal was exhausted by the 2nd title (personally, Horde mode was amazing, then played 3 and didn't like the campaign nearly as much - didn't get to buy Judgement because I was done with the IP even back then, much less now). Same deal with Forza, loved 2 and 3, then 4 was just a repeat of 3 and I got my fill of the entire franchise, now lost interest due to all the bullshit I see in mainline Forza even in campaign modes.
There's also GamePass on PC but once again zero interest. Every single game there I've already played years ago or ignored for good reason.

Yeah, thats the point. The only down side that obviously, despite all the talk, not 100% all games from gen one xbox or 360 are available. Lets say, still no space marine for us.

>"Worse BC"
>Every game the Xbox One could play from every generation of Xbox
>The PS5 just has fucking PS Now

So Stadia is ok when Sony does it, gotcha.

Looks like a literal box

>Every
No, that is a lie. Your entire post is invalidated because of it. Dial harder.

It looks comfy and nice, but i got a 5800x/3070 pc, and all xsx games are gonna be released alongside on windows cause of their whole platform, so theres is absolutely no reason for me to get one. I'll end up picking up a ps5 for the few exclusives that wont be on pc anytime soon.

Where's the lie, retard? Every game playable on Xbox One is going to be compatible, including those from 360 and the OG Xbox. Unlike the PS5 which will be "most" PS4 games, and anything else only being playable via cloud gaming.
cnet.com/news/ps5-and-xbox-series-x-backward-compatibility-everything-we-know/

Not the kinect ones ergo you can't say "Every."

Oh wait, I guess I was wrong. You can't play classics like Kinect Sports Rivals because they ditched the Kinect. Well I guess I have to buy a PS5 now because of such a horrible omission.

Yeah I'm pre-ordering my PS5 now, all hail Sony I can't play Disneyland Adventures on the Shiteis X.

Xbox in itself is better.
The hardware is there. Only missing the games. But they will come eventually.

I don't see a reason to buy PC and PS4/PS5 unless you are Soulsbornefag and you need that Bloodborne. But then why bother with PC.
If we talk pure exclusives, Switch is the king.
Xbox is more of an alternative or addition to PC. Personally I use midspec PC (Ryzen 1700/RTX2060) and XboneX. I could invest that 500$ into a PC but after 8 hours of work in front of a computer I do prefer a console.
Still don't get it how people justify PS purchase while owning a PC aside from Souls. God of War? TLOU2? Ghost of Tsushima? If that's the case the problem lies in a shit taste.

I honestly would have if they kept the audio out port. It would've replaced both by bluray player and 360 in my media cabinet.

Attached: old ports.jpg (1280x720, 63.41K)

Don't get me wrong, I get it why someone would own PS4. But buying PS4 while already owning a good PC seems redundant.
On the other hand Snoys tend to hype their games into masterpieces until they land on PC.

Is xbox going to be easy to take apart and clean the dust? Having a huge opening on top kinda makes me worry a lot more grime will get in. And like a spider can just plot a web and descend inside from the ceiling D:

>no gyro
ps5 is shit also but damn
theres just no winning

Why do you need gyro when console games are all just going to be supporting mouse and keyboard by the time 2021 is over? You can already use it on COD and a lot of other games, Gears supports it so Halo probably will too. Motion controls missed their opportunity.

because gyro is more enjoyable and more comfortable than kb+m for me
and the whole point of a console is to have it by your tv or some shit so you can play on your couch

also forgot to say
gyro didnt miss its opportunity. its great on switch pro, ds4, and will be great on ds5
microsoft missed their opportunity by shitting out the same controller (albeit a nice one) without a fundamental feature

Already bought it. See you online on Tuesday xbros

>If that's the case the problem lies in a shit taste.
Yes buying any console is a sign of shit taste.

>replying to bait
ngmi

Gonna get myself one too. Any Germanons who know if Mediamarkt will have them in stock in their stores next week the 10th or do you need to order online?

Don't fix what isn't broken. Xbone controller is literally THE perfect controller design and can't be improved upon.

It must be miserable having to develop for 2 whole SKUs as opposed to dozens of graphics cards and CPU's and multiple operating systems.

>Every game the Xbox One could play from every generation of Xbox
Lying by ommission.
Only 39 Xbox games out of about a thousand. By those standards I can say PS5 has full PS2 BC because it also has a miniscule amount of PS2 games on the store (remember that XseS has no disk either and yet still counts as BC when you pay for older games - exact same situation).

Same applies to 360 too, albeit "better" with "only" ~80% of its library NOT playable on One/Series.

I'll only get a console when I can install a OS on it and do what ever I want on it.

They didn't miss any opportunity because developers simply aren't going to support it. The push from players looking for increased control in games will be to enable mouse & keyboard as standard. Gyro is as far from a fundamental feature as it gets. It's a nice extra option to have but not at all necessary to include.
