So can you still talk about this comfy as fuck game without the thread getting deleted?

So can you still talk about this comfy as fuck game without the thread getting deleted?

Remember mods, you can just ban the 1-2 election trolls and don't have to delete the whole thread.

It's comfy, but the fact they focused so much on their super-special mocapped and voice acted and written story that totally happened with real people in a real place made the game into a total slog to play.

Basically this, it's beautifully written (way better than, say, witcher 3) and the open world is amazing, it actually look like a real place and not a video-gamey world (like, say, witcher 3).

BUT it has no gameplay.
So you basically can't play this.

It has plenty of gameplay you stupid retard. The problem is the 1 hour you have to spend on rails in the story the devs are overly proud of until you finally get cut loose when the bandits attack the stables.

What the hell are you two on about?

nice skyrim armour lmao

>>BUT it has no gameplay.

what the fuck

>BUT it has no gameplay.
How does it have less gameplay than something like Morrowind or Gothic? WRPGs aren't platformers.

The cliff hanger ending is shit, I’d of liked if they released dlc for it

>it actually looks like a real place
wow really? its almost as if its a near 1 to 1 recreation of fucking bohemia you can literally go to google maps and look at it where the witcher 3 is an actual fictional universe / land

Why does every game I genuinely love is either one of a kind or discontinued/dead
>KCD
>NOLF
>Earthbound
>Pitfall
It must be nice to be a ubishit loving normalfag, there's no shortage of their garbage

>It must be nice to be a ubishit loving normalfag, there's no shortage of their garbage
kek

Easily best game I've ever played.

But Warhorse Studios are working on KCD2 right now.

Thank god, a chance for the franchise to introduce more representation

Me chillin with my brose

Good game, I wish they went with the original cut ending where you find out the current owner of Radzig's sword and ride out into the sunset ande you then see an FMV Trailer for KCD2 with a preview of a younger Jan Zizka and Kutna Hora. Would've made for a more kino ending.
>in a real place
It is 100% real. Go to Google maps and the geography is shockingly accurate.
Hell, you can even find Miller Peshek's Mill is still there, but it's now a hydroelectric dam. Pic related.

>and written story that totally happened with real people
Most of the characters are 100% historical figures. There's some OCs but most are historical, some have been aged up like Hans Capon, I presume they aged him up to make you sympathise with him until his inevitable death in the Hussite Wars sequel (which'll be the third game) mark my fucking words

>But it has no gameplay
...????????

There was going to be a sequel, but the devs had huge burnout, that's why they removed the original sequel-tease ending and replaced it with a definitive engine. CryEngine was a pain in the ass and they are uncertain if they will continue the game or not. However, given Vavra's recent comments, there's a chance of their next game being the sequel.

Unironically, only way I can see representation is if they add Prague as a city and there's some Middle-Eastern merchant that sells some cool exotic weaponry and potions.
I kinda want this not gonna lie. Especially with Warhorse's attention to historical detail, they'll give him some cool looking historical outfit too.

havent played it yet. is it better than rdr2? im in between them rn

kcd has a sequel in development

Yes it's way better than RDR2 but I care about immersion, story, historical accuracy, and fun gameplay. If all you care about is bing bang wahoo you'll prefer RDR2.

It falls under the "one of a kind" category, unless there are more ultra realistic first person RPGs with great character progression I'm not aware of.
Though it's nice to hear we're getting a sequel, do we know if it's coming next year or they're keeping it on the hush hush for now?

It goes heavy on the realism.

Is this good? That really depends on whether you want to deal with that. Realism can make things more immersive, but also much more inconvenient.

At least the game is quite blatant on how hard it goes with it. And yet never fully realistic, or it wouldn't really be a game.

wait doesnt the game have magic?

you two are retarded

Depends. It doesn't tell as much of an emotional story as RDR2, but it has it's kino moments. If you're genuinely interested in Czech Medieval history, you'll adore this game, otherwise, KCD might not really get to you as much.

fuck no

That moment at the end with his father hits harder than anything in RDR2.

midwit cringe

>is it better than rdr2?
Fuck no.
