i liked that song by the hu

It was good, but not great enough to remember. The same goes for Squadrons.

it was decent, so there's no praising it as best thing ever nor shitting on it
also singleplayer game so not much to discuss anymore

I'd probably buy the sequel tbqh

dae sequels bad but prequels good

upvotes to the left

>also singleplayer game so not much to discuss anymore

but then why do people still talk about KOTOR, 1&2, the LEGO games, as well as the Force Unleashed games, to a lesser extent?

KOTOR has better writing (even 1) an is set in a somewhat more unique part of the star wars mythos

the rest isn't really discussed at all

I really like what they've done here
There isn't a fight that you "win", he just straight up block all your attacks like nothing

it's also supported by the gameplay
Cal is not really all that powerful and in gameplay it's supported by groups of stormtroopers being actually dangerous

heck Cal is probably the weakest force-user protagonist in a star wars anything

It was a reasonably good game but not that memorable.

umm...

I got the feeling it's because they want to do a sequel or trilogy where he gets progressively more powerful

I have zero interest in Disney Star Wars after the fucked up every movie back to back. I'll stick to the classics. I didn't even play the story mode for Battlefront 2 and think Squadrons looks like they barely fixed anything about the Starfighter piloting.

You could at least post an actually good game.

I actually hate star wars now.

Because it is shallow, AAA shit.

>only collectables are meaningless ponchos, irrelevant ship skins, or tiny saber parts that do literally nothing

JK2 has really obtuse level design.

i bought this on sale the other day. didn't make it past the first explorable area

No dismemberment no buy.

I fucking loved it and I hate Star Wars

Here's your new Star Wars, bro.

>set 200 years before Palpatine Saga and 800 years after Old Republic
>supposedly the "golden age" of the Jedis
>young-er Yoda will appear and be milked to death
>goes without saying but more woke shit

hot take
making lightsabers be able to cut through anything was a mistake

OH NO NO NO NO

It was an extremely mediocre game carried entirely by the Star Wars setting, without that it would have gone largely ignored. Plus the animations were awful, I don't know how they managed to make animations that bad in such a big budget game.

They can't cut through most stuff. Lightsabers are pretty underpowered in the Star Wars universe. You can use them as a Jedi, but they're like a Swiss Army knife. You need to know how to use them in order to get around. Being able to cut through solid steel, titanium or other metals is cool, but it comes at a cost and it's always worse than just using the Force to kill someone. Besides that, the weapon itself weighs almost 50 pounds, so it's really heavy. It doesn't have the ease and compatibility of most other weapons in the universe, and there are weapons far more advanced and lethal in Star Wars than the Lightsaber, but it is generally a reliable companion for a Jedi or Sith (although many Sith don't even use light sabers).

>make hot character
>wow this is problems, i'm making it ugly
>make frumpy character
>omg this goddess needs to look perfect i'm making it pretty

>many Sith don't even use light sabers
Yeah and I mean why would they? The force solves 99.9% of your problems. Lightsabers are only useful to combat other force users

Yeah lots of Sith just generally kill with the Force, or even other weapons. It's actually rare for Sith lords to even use sabers, save for some of the major villains in the series, the tradition carries over but the weapon is stayed for many fights.

>They can't cut through most stuff.
Shouldn't it be able to cut through mostly anything?
>the weapon itself weighs almost 50 pounds
You mean the handle weighs 50 pounds itself? The blade part is just a laser, so shouldn't weigh anything.

its honestly generic as hell, and I dont understand the praise at all. Just goes to show that Star Wars fans expectations are at an all time low

>coming to ea pass and game pass
Not for long.
