Hyrule Warriors AOC Previews

Best musou game incoming

>I’ve played a lot of Warriors games over the years; Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi, One Piece Pirate Warriors – I could go on. But Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity might just turn out to be the best of them all.

>From what I’ve played so far, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a brilliant blend of musou combat with The Legend of Zelda’s storytelling.

Framerate drops are mostly in chapter 1 it seems

pretty solid game.

Fucking grass man.

Also to note, apparently the fps issues are mostly just on the first mission for some reason

Already pre-ordered

FPS drops were consistent throughout the demo. Why should I believe that they suddenly stop afterwards?

Any tech wizard can explain how that would be possible?

It's not. It's cope. Game just runs like shit.

It's no big mystery, it's the grass.

Is the first game worth picking up? I liked the demo for this but I'm more familiar with the older characters

>Age of Calamity might just turn out to be the best of them all.
Thats bullshit with the framerate drop and this is someone who loves musou games. The flow of combat is very important and its ass when youre watching a slideshow.

Can't wait to play it on yuzu

l-leaks?

The game also ran like shit in the level that didn't feature grass in the demo.

Absolutely.

more complex level geometry and grass are the only things that could cause this. other than some sort of fuckup by the devs, that is

The Definitive Edition of the first is great but be aware that it if you play it at this point you probably won't want to play AoC.

Because Nintendo shills said otherwise for good boy points.

I'll wait for the actual reviews. Something does feel off about these previews considering the framerate was a big point of contention for the demo. The two I read didn't even mention it or touch on the possibility of an alternate story.

What are your hopes for adventure mode?

>yaaaas i need kotaku to tell me what to think

The same problem was in BotW lmao. Grass/water Grass and Water combined was crazy bad would lag the game.
Expect the Lost Woods level to be a powerpoint lmao.

None, because there is none. You get side quest missions in the main game for this one and there will be a lot, since you need to have ones for increases to movesets, hearts, special attack gauge, increased defense against elemental attacks. Not all of them require fights though, but at least some of them will, like Rune Mastery, some of the moveset increases, like Link's two handed. I think we will get at least 100 side quest fights, which is comparable to one whole adventure map.

I'll listen to whoever can give me some facts.

I only know that it will sell like hotcakes and us /eagg/chads will win again

What's the likelihood of Adventure Mode coming via DLC?

Doubtful, Koei don't like to repeat previous gameplay iterations if they can help it. Even going from DW4 to 5, many characters got changes to movesets, there were new items and maps got changed. They will probably think of something completely different.

My biggest concern is how bad will it be in multiplayer. Loved playing the Wii U HW with my brother thanks to gamepad separate screen. FE Warriors on split felt less magical.
Im expecting even worse frame drops and reduced enemies/textures. But how much?. If it had co-op online I might be willing to tell my brother to get a separate copy to play together.

What resolution is it running at?
That IGN gameplay looks like sub-720p

The resolution seemed fine in the demo, but I'm not tech buff. It was the framerate that was the most alarming.

>actually shilling musoushit
You fags will literally buy anything as long as Nintendo puts their logo on it, huh?

Mipha seems fucking broken

>Infinite juggle with being able to leap to her water fountains
>Mipha's Grace special attack heals her and gives her back special meter depending on how many enemies it hits, meaning you can infinitely spam it
>Slow moving water projectile perfect for weak point smashing

She seems like she's got it all.

Musou's have always had an audience on Zig Forums, and everywhere for that matter. I don't like musous but you're lying if you try to claim otherwise.
