What went wrong?
What went wrong?
G.R.R.M Went wrong.
They decided to work with one of the most unproductive writer in human history.
Small brain detected. His part was finished before the initial reveal.
>only 500 days
lol
Random theory: they didn't know how well Sekiro was going to do, and they had to change aspects of Elden Ring because of how successful it was. I expect stamina will be gone and replaced by posture (or whatever they call it) and a heavy emphasis on aggressive combat like BB and Sekiro over the standard DS formula.
Sure it was. Sure it was.
Vaporware.
The Souls formula has been dead ever since Bloodborne was released. Dark Souls II was the last true Souls game and the true end to the franchise.
Every game in the soulsborne series has had some degree of rush to it with varying degrees of outcome on the game quality in the end. I hope they take their time with this one, although some more information would be nice almost two years down the line.
Publisher revealing projects years ahead of release is killing games.

dude's a curse
>MITSUBISHI-SAN
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH
I love souls and this is one of my most anticipating games but I think characters design in E3 2019 trailer is bad.
Actually true but it was shit to begin with. Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 engine is far better.
Elden Ring can only disappoint, since it'll be an open world shitfest with dollar store DMC combat.
>500 days
Give it up for 500 days
Not the guy you're quoting. You genuinely think he wrote more than 5 pages in total for ER? They basically just gave him money so they could market his name. Wake up user.
Literally where has it been confirmed it'll have action hack and slash combat???
>He thinks G.R.R.M wrote the entire backstore, lore, and plot to Elden Rings in just a year or two before the game even started dev
GRRM has already said he's finished with the game. Quit being a brainlet.
>he thinks GRRM wrote anything else than the mythology of the game world
Based retard who doesn't read Miyazaki interviews from years ago.
Miyazaki is writing like 95% of the game. Martins work was only writing the history of the world.
Its not ELDEN enough yet
Its wont be out for years yet and will be trash
Are you retarded? Its a Miyazaki FromSoft game, they never disappoint
You're a moron. Its an RPG so stamina will definitely not be gone.
Yeah sure and GRRM also said the latest GoT book would be finished by the summer of 2020.
sounds like kino actually. But was Sekiro really that successful? it won GOTY but I think DS3 sold way more
So it's like martin wrote pre-apocalypse world in Elden Ring and Miyazaki wrote post-apocalypse world in Elden Ring? As I understand Elden Ring is set during post apocalypse world similiar to DS.
>4 year old game from established franchise sells more than 1 year old game from new IP
woah really?
Hes a hack, since his last book came out the whole fad for game of thrones managed to come and burn out.
He can redeem himself by killing off Sansa Stark and not trying to canonize the shitty Season 7 and 8 of the tv series.
Loads of RPG's don't have conventual stamina systems in combat now. Not that there's any info on the combat anyway. I mean Sekiro was a new game that didn't having the backing of Dark Souls as a series. I also think it's sold 5 million copies last I checked, which is very impressive for only a year coming out of Fromsoft.
Hes rewriting the whole think i reckon, after the backlash to the tv series.
I wonder if both systems in the same game could work, depending on what character build you do.
Does anyone remember DEEP DOWN the pseudo dragon's dogma in first person being a PS4 exclusive?
Elden Ring will be another garbage assets recycling from dark souls series with a few new gameplay changes.
It could definitely work but, PvP autism aside, Fromsoft's combat systems tend to be intentionally straightforward. Having stamina in tandem with posture would be more complex than their usual fare. Would filter brainlets.
Nobody cares about your tranny movie lmao.
