it's not because it's a japanese game, trust me. I despise quite a lot of them. it's just such a cute and comfy game. I liked the concept since the first time I saw it.

Fairy Bloom Freesia 2 but with farming, if you haven't played Fairy Bloom Freesia then go fucking do it, you won't find a finer fast-paced 2D brawler at it's price.

I like the comfy farming, but the combat is a mess. Either you grind the fuck out of the early levels so you have enough materials to make overpowered weapons, or you try and actually play the game and do 5 damage a hit to bosses with thousands of hp.

Either the combat is a joke, or it's hard as shit. There's no decent middle ground.

People are saying they censored it on consoles. I.e. no bath scenes, no fundoshi outfit. Dunno if true but I don't buy consoles so idc.

Can you actually upgrade the village? Can you get any upgrades at all? Is the game actually farming focused or just a sidescroll rpg with farming rice as an extra?

I'm just not feeling it about this game. The farming looks absolutely tedious while the combat is too reliant on bouncing the enemies off of one another for damage.
