but it lacks any of the fun of camping thats what i meant launchers are all trash and you have almost no means of removing people from areas additionally the maps are boring we will never get another estate that map is legendary because you would just siege the house power positions dont exist in MW2019 also killstreaks are boring and unfun to use plus they removed all the different variations so instead of having specific ones for certain gamemodes your stuck with just a VTOL jet they also made killstreaks annoying as fuck to earn and shoot down so its less back and forth and more one sided

Theres no depth to it in MW2 you would have Ninja and grenade launchers to fuck up campers but on the flipside holding areas was key in MW2019 its just fucking shooting people and its boring and repetitive

MW2019 was the first CoD I bought since 4, after which they lost me with their futuristic bullshit. The campaign (aside from the blatant revisionism) was fantastic in Realism, the multiplayer was enjoyable, Ground War sniping with friends was peak comfy, and Warzone sucked ass like all BRs. It was disappointing that the new Blops isn't using the same engine, but the beta seemed fun enough.

If you want to play the game for the story, go ahead, but do not play multiplayer. You'll feel like shit because you'll hear 14-20 year olds. That happen to me when I played the one that came out 2 years ago. The older you get, the more you have to switch to single player games. You don't want to be reminded by the fact that you're some 30 year old still playing video games with teenagers. It's creepy.

MW2019 was somewhat fun because of Ground War and it's slightly mil-sim. There's nothing to see in the other games though, and judging by the games you play, you wouldn't like Cold War.
