Hurr let’s just make the elite controller the series x controller

>Hurr let’s just make the elite controller the series x controller
I love my Xbox but why does Microsoft lack ingenuity? The PS5 controller has a built in mic, that’s so fucking cool.

low budget r&d

Why fix what isn't broken desu

>built in mic
>cool
Miss me with that shit

I don't have to buy all new controllers this gen because they're backwards compatible. Congrats on spending $70 for each to get something thats already in the headset i'd be using anyway.

it should be bigger and the new textured grips are super comfy, it's the best controller rn
who tf cares about build in mic

if it ain't broke, don't fix it

Weak bait thread

No one cares about innovation with controllers. Garbage thinking like that is the reason we were saddled with the Nintendo Wii, one of the worst controllers ever

if only they made others huh

>sony adds pressure sensitive buttons
>barely anything uses it
>nintendo adds pointer sensor
>everyone complains about wagglan
>nintendo falls back to standard controller
>sony adds gyro
>barely anything uses it
>sony adds trackpad
>barely anything uses it
>sony adds stupid triggers
>barely anything will use it
Meanwhile, at xbox
>every game uses every button
>nobody complains
>no feature is left unused
>everything is compatible
>always the most recommended controllers for PC

I hate the white light its distracting

>The PS5 controller has a built in survelliance, that’s so fucking cool.
???

Big disagree.

Not to mention my x360 controller bought before Xone was released still works 100% while my Switch drifts and both my ps4 ones stopped working wireless.

It helps protect your eyes if you’re playing in the dark, it’s unhealthy to stare at a tv in the dark without another light source

It's okay for PS5 to have a better controller, guys

The only feature sorely missing from the SeX controller is gyro. The Xbox controller is the most comfortable to me and has the best layout, but I want to use fucking gyro controls in certain PC games. I hate the Playstation controller layout, so I'll never go that route, I was never able to get a handle on the Steam Controller, and the Switch controller is average at best. If they just put fucking gyro into the SeX controller it would be PERFECT. I'm so pissed that they didn't.

The Xbone controller from 2013 had impulse haptic meme triggers why is everyone making a big deal about the ps5 controller having them?

>he PS5 controller has a built in mic
Why do you want a built in spyware?

The mic is only there to pick up you screaming the gamer word so it can ban your console.

Is elite more durable than the normal one? Dropped mine once from desk height and the d-pad stopped working.

>The PS5 controller has a built in mic, that’s so fucking cool.

it's meaningless as fuck.

the xcore controller isn't substantially different because the xbone controller is nearly perfect.

ive been making this prediction for some time- the average lifetime of PS5 controller triggers will be under one year.

Wait and see.

fuck you

I dropped my wired 360 controller so many times that shit still works

>built in mic
so snoy can spy me when I'm beating my dick to hentai
no thanks

The 360 controller was a fucking tank.
I finally retired mine after a decade because the return spring on the thumb sticks were worn out and wouldn't return 100% to the neutral position and was only a problem if you set it down (your dude would just slowly walk in circles).

They did?

>PS5 controller has a built-in monitoring device, that's so fucking cool
Could you shill harder?

broke ass nigga can't even afford hentai

at least with xbox controllers you don’t have to deal with a weak internal battery

>the xbone controller is nearly perfect.
I've been really unhappy with the bone controller. My first one completely went to shit a week outside of the warranty and the replacement doesn't always register button presses.

its funny how someone here always has some story about them failing when my xbox 360 controller still works fine

i say "story" but i mean "lie"

>the xbone controller is nearly perfect
The shoulders suck ass. It's a step down from the 360 in every way except the d-pad.

>PS5 controller has a built in mic, that’s so fucking cool.
facebook is 2 tabs to the right, retard

>The shoulders suck ass.

you probably only used the first version, it was quickly revised

the xcore shoulder buttons are a lot better fwiw.

That's because the Xbox 360 controller is actually good (would be best of all time if not for the shit d-pad) but the Xbone controller is shit. How hard is that to grasp?

Yeah, called them " impulse triggers ". There's demos of it on YT.

They should've added buttons on the back, make it standard so games start using them. That's my gripe about the new Xbox controller, I don't give a shit about gyro, vibrating bullshit and all that. I want more buttons and I want devs to start designing games around having more buttons.

Actually, they should add more buttons on the front as well. Like the black and white buttons on the original Xbox controller.

>the average lifetime of PS5 controller triggers will be under one year
Yeah, I feel the same. Too many moving parts, these things aren't gonna last unless they are built with very high quality materials... and I doubt they are.

>sony recording everything you say and banning you for it is so cool!
cuck

Well they will censor your hentai so you can't masturbate at all. Problem solved.

Yeah the first version had shitty bumpers but newer Xbone controllers are actually really great. I think I still slightly prefer the 360's shape but that's about it.

>it was quickly revised
Did they change the shape of them? My biggest complaint with the Xbone shoulders is how tall and thick they are which makes it difficult to switch from the triggers to the shoulders without way too much finger movement. On the 360 controller I could just bump them easily, but the Xbone has them designed like a fucking stupid lever that rises way too far away from the controller.

>I want more buttons and I want devs to start designing games around having more buttons.

games right now have far too many buttons/controls and its an issue

ghost of tsushima was horrible about this. you can select like 50 different things at any time

>The PS5 controller has a built in mic
Yeah so they can monitor everything you say and ban your PS account when you say bad words

All controllers should have haptic feedback, gyro aim options, fully customizable mappings, including advanced utilities like action layers and mode shifts.
Also trackpads are unironically better than sticks

I can still use my Xbox One controller on the new console.
Enjoy that Copestation. son.

no, the original ones were clicky then they became pressy.

the xcore controller shoulder buttons are wider and flatter like you want I think.
