Why do people pretend they can tell the diffeence between 30 and 60 fps?

I can't usually tell most of the time. The only time where it was glaringly obvious to me was when I finished the Superstar Saga remake for 3DS (which runs at smooth 60fps) and moved on to the BIS remake, which only runs at 30.

Once you get used to 60 fps, 30 fps starts to feel like shit.
Get used to 100-150 fps, 60 starts to feel like shit like your system is having problems running the game.
I can believe someone not knowing what the difference is if you only played cinematic playstation games but 30 vs 60 fps is kinda weak bait at this point. Atleast upgrade your shitpost to 60 vs 100+ fps

True. After getting a decent PC and playing BF3 on it the smoothness was almost disorienting at first compared to when I played it on consoles, but I quickly got used to it.
Then some years back after learning that my monitor wasn't properly set to 144hz I switched it and I noticed almost the same thing.
