What’s your cutoff price for a single game?

$25 and under

$0

About $30. Any higher and I'll either not play or pirate it.

I'm not one to look at games in a "price per hour" kind of way but with prices this high it needs to be said
I bought smash and both fighter packs for example but I've also got 400 hours and at least another 100 when the other characters come out so the price feels justified there
If a 70 dollar game is done in under 10 hours I'm gonna be disappointed

Remember its just a test to see how much more shit you'll eat.

I'll pay if someone leaked the names of those execs.

>no 1440p
>no $60 games
>looks like absolute pussy repellant
>lmao variable clockspeed
>no RDNA 2.0
>no spider-man with good webswinging
>no bloodborne successor
>$500
Worst deal in the history of gaming.

You couldn’t pay me to play a Snoy game

15$ is max

But in all reality, 70$ for a SINGLE game like the fuck?

Second.

let's also not forget the $40 season passes and $50 online subscriptions

I'm a PC fag I don't actually play games. Also consider that the 'standard' price has been 60 now for years and I have never payed more than 50

15 a month

This is why i have absolutely no empathy for PC fags who are always crying about not getting ports

I'd say $80.

nigger I play on console and I don't even want to pay full price for games

Platform doesn't matter friendo. Won't pay over $30 on console either. If that means waiting, I wait.

t buying a 70 dollar remake

Can't remember when I last paid money for entertainment media. Thank you pirate bay.

Buying any game at launch now is for suckers that shit will get DLC and an eventual rerelease that comes with all the content. Best to just wait until its updates are all out.

$40 maybe for most games. Paid $60 for doom eternal and death stranding but those are rarities

Quit spending so much money on marketing. I swear Sony is trying to lose this generation.

i'll only spend $60 on a game at release that reviews well and i'd been anticipating. $20-$30 at release is probably my sweet spot where i don't think too hard about it. i tend to agonize more about $5-$15 games where they're mostly garbage but you still can find a diamond in the rough. I don't usually buy games that have been out for a while unless they're steeply discounted, part of bundles, or some other kind of steal.

Higher prices = Higher discounts = Same profit

This is how they get you

Most AAA games aren’t worth full price, or do you still believe in “supporting the developers” at these megacorp game factories like EA, activision, and Bethesda

i pirate on console too

$60. Including base game, DLC, etc. If a publisher wants more than that, then they're a greedy chink jew and deserve death.

10-15. Once in a blue moon within a blue moon ill buy a nintendo title at full price if it has a sufficient social aspect.

if a game has cutscenes I'm not playing it

>What’s your cutoff price for a single game?
Whatever Nintendo decides to charge for it.

20

I only buy games on sale, so like $40 is my maximum.

Games should be 100 dollars, get out of my hobby plebs

>2023 black friday
>oh wow, last year's GOTY is only $60!

>sony doing market research here
Is definitely pay $120 per game to support the devs. But only for ps5 games.

I don't buy games until they have been out for at least 2 years that way I can pick them up for 40$ or less at gamestop. The only exceptions are online games and Nintendo games (cuz 0 sales)

>This is why i have absolutely no empathy for PC fags who are always crying about not getting ports
*inhales*
