the sound of the later sega genesis titles gives off an impression that seems to be larger and more significant than it really is. when i hear the music from something like gunstar heroes, shinobi 3, 3d blast, ristar, hybrid front, whatever i feel part of an epoch that i can always access via time machine. sega really had something here man
