Of course. Perfect Dark is built on missions with linear and non-linear objectives plus tons of other content while Alyx is an immersive shooter focused on atmosphere. They are very different games.

I've been at least majorly into each platform this gen. PC when you're part of it is neither here nor there. I didn't get into much of a conversation for the same reason I moved away from PC, the franchises and even genres I loved don't exist anymore. They popup with "PC is best" more than I'd like when it's lost 90% of the benefits it had 20 years ago.

Switch was a nasty little group to be a part of. God forbid you don't like any one of the exclusives. I've always enjoyed Zelda games in the past but hated BotW. I hated everything about it and it felt like a Zelda game as much as Darksiders does when people compare that. It's almost entirely unrecognisable. They can't handle you just not liking any one exclusive. When paid online was announced I sold my Switch anyway. The killer exclusive wasn't something I liked so I had lost faith in Nintendo and there was now a subscription fee. Outside of a few shitposts about "is BotW the best game of all time" you don't see much of them though.

The Xbox fanbase basically doesn't exist. I don't enjoy Halo so I never look at those threads, I think Gears dropped off too much for people to care. There are no proper exclusives to speak of.

But the Sony fanbase. Every single thread. They're in it. Breath of the Wild thread? "Horizon is better". Dark Souls thread? "Bloodborne is better". Xbox thread? "PlayStation is better". I've had enough of them and their shit opinions. Everyone can get a PlayStation and play these games but doesn't fucking want to.

When I had a PlayStation I didn't play TLOU2, or Horizon, or Spiderman, or God of War. I didn't want to. You know who else doesn't want to? Everyone spending a gen not buying a PS4 and not spending pennies on PS Now.

Now the PS5 is coming out looking like the worse console with no fucking games any they're constantly posting it.
