the only good thing to come out of machinma was season 1 of RvB
This
RVB got shit really soon after season 1
Freeman's Mind
>Freeman's Mind 2 will most likely finish before Valve will ever count to 3
What's it called when a series just starts out as silly random fun but as it goes on it becomes devoted to some sort of ridiculous overarching plot?
I dunno, Ross is taking his time on it and HL:A just came out
The Civil Protection series.
I have no idea but there is probably tvtropes term for it.
>Zero is going to be a reboot because RT got rid of everyone that actually liked working on the project
>It's all minorities and that's literally the sales pitch "Guys we have blacks!"
I thought this shit was the funniest thing ever as a kid
I'm not autistic so i don't watch these
How the fuck is it still going?

It's called the "Letting your fanbase run your show"
based
Cerberus Syndrome
I dunno, man. It was going pretty well until rampant corporatism started meaning they had to cut out everyone.
Caboose's VA got let go recently for being too right wing or whatever. I think he's denying coronavirus now so he'll probably never get a job.
Arby n the Chief
Too bad digitalqueer/Jon Graham gets triggered by shitty shops and loses sleep over trivial things
Remember when they went through a phase where they decided everyone wanted to see their shitty badly made OC characters in poorly animated fight sequences outside of the game?
And then 343 made Guardians which was an entire game based around that concept?
But Tucker was black.
For real though I haven't watched this show since season 12 and the only reason I watched that far was because I liked Joel and Geoff, it's sad that they went from getting support from bungie and voice lines in Halo 3 to this garbage.
Tucker was black but the VA wasn't.
Jesus Christ just let it die. I didn't even hate the last seasons, kind of wanted to see what the writer would do with his own arc but the retooling, more gay animation sequences and woke diversity bullshit can fuck off.
I thought the whole blood gulch chronicles were good. What didn't you like about the other seasons?
>tfw will be harder for Ross to hide that he does ADR in a VR game
I enjoyed basically every season. I didn't really like that they tried to tease Locus as this big secondary character like he'd join the main team but never really held to it.
I'm sure Zero will be fine but I think it's aimed at a different group of people.
the series is a microcosm of internet culture and how it degraded , it hurts to look at
>lolrandumb -> we’re serious -> look this has emotional and serious and plot and backstory -> millennial therapy, sad and shit -> reboot with millennial humor -> millennial humor but serious -> millennial lolsrandumb -> (you are here) reboot with zoomer fortnite
DR CHOCOLATES
Seasons 1-5 (Blood Gulch Chronicles) is peak RvB. Few seasons after that were pretty good, but was start of things to come. And Rooster Teeth as a whole started on it's spiral to hell when Rwby came out.
pretty succinct analysis
How the fuck is their company still alive. I remember someone said they’re the Rasputin of the internet and that’s pretty fucking apt. Every couple of months someone at that company is revealed to be either a pedophile or a psychopath.
I think it's a combination of merch and rabid fans. RWBY gets them a lot of views even if nothing actually happens in it.
Even if I didn't really like RvB past S10 or so I can't lie that things don't happen in it.
Bicheron baby!
The show was somewhat spinning its wheels by the end and a lot of the audience was apparently annoyed they moved back to more limited animation. They'll probably still capture a lot of their audience, just not the dwindling number who watched from the beginning.
It’s so strange. I have to believe most of their fans are legitimately mentally ill, because nothing they’ve made has been good yet they’ve managed to garner a cult around it. The thing is, rvb only blew up because it was in the right place at the right time; and I admire how they were able to make it last so long, but honestly, it’s just so bizarre. The whole story would honestly make an excellent documentary.
Yeah. Agreed.
I didn't like so much after S13 concluded it sort of turned into a "plotof the season" thing where they only introduced characters to push the plot forward.
I legtimately liked Reporter Lady
