It's just a complete clusterfuck of a disaster.

Even just reading the reviews alone shows that there are problems all over the place.

Game sucks and it's not even in a comic artstyle anymore.

Reading some of the reviews:

The game is S H I T, but its impossible to know until the game is released.
Steam is not letting me refund it because of the 2 weeks old purchase, BUT HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT THE GAME IS OK IF I CANNOT PLAY IT?!?!?!?!
Steam needs to change this. Studios are scamming people (like in this game) by showing a product completelly different in the steam product page, and when the game is released is another thing.
XIII is not a REMAKE as they say, its a remaster at the most (AND A BAD ONE). I got scamed by the studio using a beloved franchise.

it makes no difference when you preorder a game, your 2 week window is only active when/after the game releases.

the biggest crime: is the comic effects. it's an absolutely downgrade in aesthetic (since they use a comic-like font) and visuals. for example in the og game when you shoot the guy off the cliff in the first mission: it shows multiple panels and follows the body following down. in the new game: it's a far shot of the body just crumpling

just play the original XIII - and if this remasters offers an extended ending.. just find the youtube video

One thing that got me ever since the beginning was the death animations, what the fuck is up with them? Is like they turn into a dead body on the ground almost instantly, it looks like utter shit
