No. Ghost ruined the series so badly that EA closed them down and gave it to Criterion in the hopes that they'll actually be able to make a good game and save the franchise. Over the last 10 years they have just given the arcade racing genre to Forza on a silver platter.

They fixed a lot of the issues with the last 5-6 NFS games in this but it's still trash
Mario-kart handling, shit music, nothing ever slowing you down, better level design still doesn't equal good, shitty setting as well, that ugly goblin char selection etc
At least made me hopeful for next titles
