I found FATE on this launcher many years ago, good times.

FATE was the only good game they ever had on their service imo

I'm glad you said imo because of how wrong you are.

Name 5 actually good games other than FATE that were on there during its run

I remember using this once. but not what for...

Oh shit, I couldn't remember the name of that game until now.
Anyways, on top of FATE I also played Polar Bowler, World of Goo, and Plants vs Zombies.

I also remember finding some game through the ad banners of WIldTangent's launcher, it was some online game where you drew your creature and it did shit like a tamagotchi and you could order it as an irl plush if you wanted
dont remember the name, but in hindsight the game was pretty queer.

That penguin rip off of lemmings was fun

Fuck wild tangent
Where's my POGO bros???

That was the EA one, right?

Dunno if EA owned it from the get-go or if they acquired it later on. It's been countless years since I played shit on there. Good memories though of Chuzzle and other stuff.

they definitely acquired it, Pogo used to be its own company before the dotcom bust fucked basically every small web startup like them

my niggas

oh yeah i remember that
anybody play super grandma or whatever the fuck it was called

Free realms, anyone remember that gem?

I member, shame it wasnt really free at all. But the minigames were ok

That Sony Online though
just like this gem right here

It was pretty fun back when it launched, sadly sony did to the game what they do best

90% of the game locked behind paywall, so much for the "free" part lmao

I remember that leveling above a certain point wasn't possible without a membership but it was pretty nice to play with friends

Wizard 101 is a blast from the past too, same issue, but the free part lasted for several hours.
I think its still being updated even

That game is even worse on the paid aspect, you can only access like 5 areas before having to pay to progress

Atleast the game doesnt pretend its completely free.
But fuck, i paid for a month of membership like a year ago, its fun game, but the combat does get kinda stale.

And for some reason i was always horny for the farming aspect of it.
I remember i grinded all the way up to lvl 12 i think to unlock it, on free account, and grew shit in the little dorm home area

Didn't remember the game had farming until you mentioned it

Well, farming, i used poor word, Gardening more like, growing shit in pots and stuff
Or when you get the cash and buy an actual home, you can have actual garden without having to resort to pots.

But the energy aspect kinda soured it. You could do only so much before you ran out of it, then had to wait to get more of it.

I remember they had some bullshit coin system like an arcade so I just left the games running indefinitely

I remember there being a way to use coins infinitely

>game is using one of those shitty coins or time limit systems
>the game is published by multiple companies
>finish playtime on one, install the game again from different company
>it works and saves are compatible

I'm glad FATE had a standalone boxed release
I never did get around to playing the expansions though, my mom did (RIP)

Did this before i realized piracy is even a thing.

Was FATE that infinite dungeon crawling game? I sucked at it and I was only like 10. Whatever happened to the developers
