Is it just me, or do JP games like this have absolutely no appeal on Zig Forums anymore?

Or does nobody discuss it because it was a PS4 exclusive, like Gravity Rush discussion?

for how niche it is, it is pretty common on Zig Forums. its almost 1.5 years old now for PC release, and almost 3 for PS4. people here that played it already played through it all.

Nioh 2 gets plenty discussion and it's a PS4 exclusive; EDF5 isn't PS4 exclusive and is always recommended when Steam sales threads arise.
Gravity Rush just happens to be shit whose whole appeal is the waifu and that doesn't guarantee long term discussion.

EDF is one of the only games i play these days. Too many gamse forcing agendas or trying to be art. Like holy fuck just let me blast some monsters and have a fun for fuck sake.

Most threads like most games happen when a game's release is recent, I didn't play it myself but I remember there being a fuck ton of Noita threads when it launched as Early Access and they popped up again after they released the full version. There were a lot of PC lobbies hosted in threads on Zig Forums and it still gets an occasional thread or two now, but most are just waiting on EDF6 news.

This. There were daily EDF webm threads and discussion after launch, then everyone who had interest finished the game and moved on. It doesn't reflect badly on the interest of the game, it was enjoyed thoroughly at the time, it's just old now.

Would you guys say EDF5 is a good game, even when it too so many levels from 4.1? What's the appeal of the newet titles in the series?

Every installment improves on the gameplay in some way. Like adding radius for picking up boxes, or rechargeable guns for air raider, cores for flying bitch, etc.

Yes, it has a lot of small improvements over 4.1.

What are you bets on the things they are going to unfuck in 6?
I hope they improve vehicles again and add free aim to bikes and helis.

Best EDF to date so yes. S tier sort of game that is greater than the sum of its parts, as has been the case for EDF games for a while.
