Im so glad I didnt fell for the remaster meme, I feel like an idiot now that I was really moved when they announced the remaster, I thought oh boy the lost arch stone, the updated graphics, the revived multiplayer and so on. They even started with the familiar intro.
And now this mess. This doesnt look clunky, its goofy, also what was wrong with an 11 year old intro cinematic everyone who actually played the game more than one session is familiar and fond with?
I hate modern gaming more and more, is this how artists feel for ages? Seeing a precious thing getting tainted by modern interpretation?

Yeah, it very Blizzardesque. They've been adding colors and details that have taken away from the grittiness of what the world building should be. The small fantasy elements are elevated by the otherwise lack of fantasy elements. Mythological creatures and constructions pop out against the gritty brick-and-mortar castles and dungeons, but not when the environment itself is as fantastic, including the music.
