The floor system sucks too.
The only good thing about it is that unlike lobbies I can fight whoever I want and not stuck to 2/3 different people at best

I find it to be the opposite actually, having to make a choice whether you want to burn meter to do a real russian damage combo that ends with an overdrive or dropping it and strictly staying with normals and specials. Not to mention shit like deciding whether to eat a combo/chip damage or sacrifice some of your damage to get out with one of the defensive RCs or FD. Honestly sounds like she's going to cause a bit too much thinking for the unga-minded player, I've already seen tons of A.B.A players get filtered by her meter management so it makes me wonder how Giovanna players will handle it.

The trick to IAD combos that directly cancel from a button is to input the IAD towards the end of the active frames of the button.
If you input IAD too fast you won't get your IAD and if you input too slow you'll be in recovery frames of the button.
It's just practice and timing at the end of the day.

Any game that will inevitably have a small player base needs both rollback and crossplay to be practically playable after the inital launch hype and scrubs move on to the next new shiny thing.
