Most PS4 games I have are ports or collections

What was your favorite?

>Bloodborne
God tier
>Persona 5
God tier
>Spiderman
Average
>Death Stranding
Average
>Monster Hunter World
Absolute shit frame rate on PS4. Much better on PC.
>Yakuza 0
Very good
>Kingdom Hearts 3
Shit

Nothing else worth mentioning. Kind of a shit gen carried by multiplats and only two good exclusives. Multiplats are the future. Not exclusives

>control
shit taste, rest disregarded

My shelf is a bit of a mess but here's my ps4 collection, a fair chunk of it is limited run stuff and indie games that got physical copies, but it's mostly double A and triple A games.

I agree with you 100% on this. My only other real disappointment was God of War... I tried to like it but I could never get into it, I liked old GoW way better and thought it had more soul

Control was fun, had a bold style and was uncompromising. Remedy is a based studio and you're only mad because the game made you play as the one thing that won't ever touch you, a girl.

KINOOOOOOOOOOO

Visual novels are cancer and barely qualify as a "game"

if you call that thing with a majaw a girl

Who cares? It's a video game character, not a sex doll...

I have been playing this game and I haven't been able to put it down. Even despite the new Yakuza.

What's the gameplay like? Is it more than just a VN?

Gameplay is barely there. It is mostly a VN. The gameplay CAN be deeper and isn't bad. But it isn't the gameplay that hooks you. The story is absolutely GOAT tier as someone who loves all the classic sci-fi and mecha tropes.

Ah I see, it takes a lot for a video game story to hook me. I'll take solid fun gameplay over story any day

gamestop selling this for 30 on BF if anyone else is interested but doesn't wanna pony up $60

looks like we have similar tastes, I just got a ps4 for cheap, any other exclusives worth playing?

I resell all my games. Only kept Yakuza and Shenmue.

top 5 for ps4 are
bloodborne
evil within
evil within 2
nier
death stranding
honerable mention diablo 3 but i prefer to play it on the switch

Most of them were mediocre, especially the AAA ones. I also have Gravity Rush 1 digitally and I've never bought PS plus. I'll eventually buy Aegis Rim, Sakura Wars, FF7, Nioh 2 and Crash 4 if they don't get ported PC

United States is junk to produce video games. ....

Nice virginity

>collecting games

>not selling your games after you're finished playing them in order to recover 50-75% of the purchase cost
>not using that recovered cost to bankroll future game purchases

>persona 5 god tier

I only collect VHS tapes like a real nigga

I got a PS4
>Sonic Mania
Bought day one and really liked
>Ratchet and Clank
Original PS2 game was better, but I enjoyed the gameplay enough to play through it again in challenge mode
>GTA V
Going from the PS2 era games to this, I was really impressed by the graphics. The game itself was really fun and I put a a lot of hours into it, probably my favorite game that I have for the system. Wish that GTAO didn't require a PS Plus subscription
>South Park Stick of Truth
I played like an hour of it, though it was fun, just never went back to it for some reason. Should probably pick it back up again
>South Park Fractured But Whole
Never even touched it, I made a promise to myself that i'd play after SoT
>Spider-Man
Pretty fun
>Rayman Legends
One of my favorite 2D sidescrollers
>Just Cause 3
I played like a few minutes of it like 3 years ago and haven't touched it since for whatever reason
>Injustice
It was free. Just seemed to be a standard fighter from the hour I played of it, ok but never went back to it. Also the cutscenes ran like shit on my machine
>Journey
Also free. Played through it in an entire sitting, some areas looked nice but it was pretty boring
>Uncharted Collection
Also free. Played through like half of the first game, pretty fun, should pick it back up again

Ive never owned a console past the ps1, so ill just share my steam games.
In physical i just have FF7 original and remake. The rest were just burnt CDs because original games were too expensive.

Here's my full collection, nothing fancy. I barely bought physical ps4 games, ordered Alien Isolation yesterday. Definitely going to buy Nier Replicant physical.
