The first-party lineup doesn't look all that diverse to me and I'm still waiting on Monolith Soft's new game and Metroid Prime 4.

It's got some great games, BOTW by itself is worth the price of admission imo. Also a great little machine for indies.
That said, there's pretty much nothing good coming these days.

If I was to buy it, it would be for Xenoblade since I'm a big Xeno Takahashi fan, but I've already completed Xenoblade and I watched whole playthroughs of Xenoblade 2 (not sure why).
BOTW looks great but everyone has already played it to death by now. And I don't see much talk of it anymore...I think I'll wait for the next Zelda.
Indies lol never could get excited by them. Most are just 2D platformers I swear. Not really my idea of console sellers.

Idk I cant really pinpoint why. Maybe some of the criticism of the game put me off. Like how all the ganon bosses look the same or wtv. Or the shrines kinda get repetitive. Stuff like that. Idk. Maybe I'm not into Zelda enough to get a console for it.

i got one last month and I just finished my fire emblem 3h playthrough, after 90 long hours. great game. i also finished bayonetta 2 in between because i love character action games, and it was a great game as well. i dont regret buying one, i finally got one after they announced smtv and a new monster hunter, and the backlog is quite huge now that i have it. id say its worth it if you got the money to spare
