How did you guys deal with the optional Hodir boss? When you break his glaive and the second phase starts I can't handle the pressure, his attack pattern has zero breaks and even at range he tosses the pieces of the palace at you. I even resorted to summoning the Carmine Knight but he gets assraped in five minutes and doesn't even survive until the second phase. Do I really need to complete the Eternal Maze first to get the Archfire?

Bluepoint made ds remake and from is only the producer so they are probably still working on elden ring but id ssy its gonna be q4 2021 or early 2022. "Ambitious mechanics" is generally used as a more polite version of "What the fuck are you doing" Wonder if it'll be about invasion / co-ops mechanics, those tend to be main take aways from the souls games aside from the "It's difficult" crowd.

This is wrong. You don't optimize or port your game for one whole year. Especially for FromSoft which has been pretty good with their development efficiency.
