Dualshock battery was shit enough, can't imagine how bad the battery is gonna be on the dualsense after a few month of using haptic triggers

I swap them out with another rechargeable pair when they run out.

how often do you do that or how much did you pay for the rechargeable pair and a charger?

Same. I always have a pair on the charger.

I keep my Xbone controller on a wire.

This, once every couple of weeks. Got a 4 pack of rechargeables + usb charger for 10 bucks total in Ikea and never looked back.

if you use it on PC (which is what I do), I don't think it matters all that much desu

bitch get some rechargeable battery

>Got a 4 pack of rechargeables + usb charger
whats a usb charger?
how do i charget that

I have no idea, tens of hours or some shit, way too long for me to bother keeping track exactly how long I use it each time and adding everything up. The battery charger and the batteries themselves are some noname shit I picked up at the local supermarket years ago, don't remember what they cost but certainly not much.

I get that, but I meant more like once a week, once every other week?

Never

by putting your house on fire and using the heat to rotate a turbine that is linked to the usb cable that's plugged in your controller

baste

I don't always play games which require a controller so sometimes I may pick it up after a month or something and as I've said I don't really keep track. I'm pretty sure I never had to replace batteries more often than every 1-2 weeks though.

These fucking things need to charge like every few VR sessions though, battery capacity is shit. At least given the form factor and surface capacitance sensors I can understand that adding replaceable batteries may not have been easy.

too often

bro, put the big speaker in place of the the hifi monitoring thing, bass is heard better when placed near the floor and you'll avoid some backpains each time you want to change a setting

nice i should get something like that too
got it thanks

you have to admit though, dualsense battery was hot garbage

I think the last time I had a controller that needed batteries was my wireless controller for GameCube lol. Imagine not just charging your controller in 2020

>need to charge like every few VR sessions
>battery capacity is shit
These are conflicting statements.

Ikea is your friend, this one is called vinninge or something like that.

a session could be 30 minutes

I'm glad battery life on this gen is so much better, I'm getting one for my PC.

A session is like two to three hours.

As long as they last more than one session, what's the problem?
Just plug them in.
