People that bought the game and/or early expansions you just had your money stolen because the latest update/expansion removed all of the content from the vanilla-Forsaken. F2Pers are left out to dry because all the free shit is now gone. All of the new "season" content is locked behind a 40 dollar pay wall that is called "Beyond Light". So, if you want to all of the games content you have to spend 90 dollars for the full year and all of that content will be removed at the end of the year.

Next years content will most likely be mostly a collection of content that was removed this year and they will throw a parade acting like saviors when they bring back content they removed.

>The planets remaining are Earth, with 2 locations and Nessus + The Dreaming City + Tangled Shore and the Moon

>levelling as a F2P player has been made into an absolute nightmare as the core activities such as Strikes, Crucible and Gambit were stripped of maps. modes or in the case of Gambit, half the activity was removed, along with pretty much every reward apart from the weekly rewards
>this is only made worse by the fact that new weapons are not only rare for F2P players, but only 30~ weapons were added in the new expansion, people have been getting old weapons in the rewards for the Beyond Light campaign

I've been replaying Destiny 1, I got 2 for free and played a tiny bit. But I have fucking everything in D1, raids, 14 strikes, shit tons to still do...except no one to run Raids with..

this series has been a train wreck since D1 launch when they got rid of the lead writers deep into development. They lost me after the taken king when i realized you'd just be chasing your "light level" after every expansion and continuously making your old gear shit.

Taken King as a small fumble as everyone realized that all pre-TTK content was pretty much worthless unless you wanted something for PvP. I didn't play RoI but I did hear that they fixed the issue by making old content relevant again. It astounds me that Bungie just keeps fucking up over and over when they themselves have solved these issues before.

Overall, it feels like they were hitting a reset button.
Imagine a human body, where 75% of the organs, flesh, whatever has been stripped down to the bone, and only 25% is left, except they put a fake tan on the rest.
That's Destiny 2.
That's $40 for our "expansion", $5 more for our barebones season, where you can earn more rewards, or fuck our older players for only $60.

but league is great. The new items are dank af and any problems will be fixed until seadon start like always. No other game gets this much care content and support.
