Once I've realized that Anet is the most incompetent entity on this planet. Whenever I feel bad I look up news regarding GW2 and it makes me feel better, for instance, PoF still has laggy areas despite it being the most recent expansion (2-3 years old at this point, maybe more)

Devs threw out everything that made GW1 special and made a generic WOW clone.
Took several years to make the first expac and guild halls weren't even in the base game.
XP boosts are inches tall in a land of giants.
Raids weren't added until well into the first expac and it's impossible to pug them.
Dungeons boil down to the same meta-approved team comp every time and if you deviate from that you're fucked.
This is all even ignoring the identity politics bullshit they started pushing, which I didn't mind too terribly.
Jumping puzzles were cool and there was plenty of shit to explore, but once that runs out you have nothing to do but run fractals and do arbitrary challenges in the overworld. I ended up jumping ship for FF14 because my friends actually play that, and they've even managed to add some jumping puzzles to that game by now. Plus, Blue Mage harkens back to GW1's approach to character builds, which is fucking fantastic once you get past the grind wall on that class and unlock some good skills.

Once I realized how many cut corners and unfinished parts it has. I love the aesthetics, animations and questing, just traveling the world is fun. Playing it makes me feel sad, almost as much as WildStar closing down.
Never forgetti that it's not GW1 and wow is still a superior game somehow.

The game is dead to me, completely.

There’s a new expansion coming? I thought Path of Fire would be the last one.
It became too much of a grind fest for me. Exp boosts do very little and it takes forever to collect everything and get in game currency just to get a mount. I’m still debating whether or not I should come back to the game just to get a Skyscale mount and then leave.
