perfect example of a soulless remake. it's like grezzo had no idea what made the original a masterpiece in the first place. The fact that they changed how saving at the owl statues worked is alone enough to prove this. They did make the game look very nice, however.

Not really. Some things they got wrong. Some things are way better.
If we lived in a perfect world we'd get another remake that has the best aspects of both versions. But I would argue MM3D is one of the best remakes a game has ever received, despite its flaws.
