How it compares? Is it true that is better to start with Scholar of the first Sin? I saw some people here saying that it is the best one.

bump

3 is excellent, they're all good. If you liked Bloodborne you should likely enjoy 3. It would be better to start with 1 though and just play in chronological order.

Should i buy the extensions too?

yes

>I saw some people here saying that it is the best one.
Please never listen to anything that these people have to say.

DS3 is basically bloodborne 2 so if you never played the first two DS games you will probably love it

Ariandel and Ringed City have the best bosses in the entire series, so yes you should buy it.

Yeah, the DLC for all 3 games is great. Scholar comes with the DLC. The remastered version of 1 also comes with the DLC and for 3, I think there might be a bundled version.

Yes dark souls 2 is the best one, but if you liked bloodborne you're probably a pleb with shit taste like the majority of this board

I've played all of the Soulsbonekiro games besides DS2 and I'd say it's 3rd best after DS1 and BB.

>DS3 is basically bloodborne
Stop it. DS3 Is not even the best of the series and Bloodborne is one of the greatest games ever made.

Its pretty fun. Better level design and bosses than 2 imo, but a very linear world design. Gameplay and combat feels better except for sorcery which is dumbed down and sucks shit for half the game. Every magic build sucks shit for half the game.

snoy cope

Honestly you could start with 1 or 3. 2 isnt terrible but its probably a terrible introduction for Souls since it just tosses mob fights at you nonstop for the first couple hours, and it will feel like molasses coming off Bloodborne.

>never played a DS game before
>better start with the 3rd or 2nd game

>How good is Dark Souls 3?

It's the only dark souls game worth playing.

It's a great return to the roots of the series, and a wonderful cap-off to one of the most influential line of games of recent years. The non-DLC final boss is still my favorite fight in the whole series.

DS2:SoTFS is only the best if you like PvP. Just pick up the remastered version of Dark souls 1 and play that. Like why wouldn't you start with the first game?

Zig Forums hates this game, but its really good. The biggest issue people have is how much it references DS1, but if you've not played another Dark Souls game that won't matter for a first playthrough, and people also dislike how its the most linear game in the series, makes repeat playthroughs familiar, but you can work around it. If you liked Bloodborne gameplay you'll probably like how DS3 plays, its pretty fast like BB, just keep equip load below 70% or you're roll starts to suck.

Also Dark Souls 2 is considered the worst, its not bad but it definitely has issues. i like it more than the original

>Like why wouldn't you start with the first game?

The first game is the worst game....? Lol retard

Start with DaS I, OP
You're getting jewed out of your shekels for the Remastered, can't lie about that one.
But FromSoft sure can make some good Vidya.
Skip DaS II tho shit is ass.

You mean the third game is the worst.

>Zig Forums hates this game

because thyre so overtly butthurt due to the fact that its 13x better than the past entries.

The 3rd game is the only good dark souls game lmao. Stay mad butthurt babby.

Seethe forever, tastelet

Sorry it can never be better than either of the past entries when it actually regresses and has the worst world design in any fromsoft game. It's actually shocking how linear and bland the world design is. DS1 is the best as far as interconnectivity goes, DS2 is the best for just letting you go wherever you want from the start, and DS3 is... not good at anything.

It's objectively impossible for this to be true. If the first two games in the series were bad, why did they get sequels?

Why would you play this shit after bb? Just replay it, and maybe the first Souls later.

The rest is not worth it

playing through it now, at the last vanilla boss, but going through the DLCs (fuck SF, seriously)
it's quite good, combat is faster than DS 1 or 2
they definitely took some cues from Bloodborne
at least so far, boss variety is limited but enjoyable
it's definitely worth a play

play the series in order, it'll give you some context as to why people are so divided over them on this board

Dks3 is great. Though id say start with dks1 or demons as it can be hard to go back for some.

How much did you guys paid? Its on sale now

the OG dark souls is the ideal starting point, but the only one on steam is the remaster which isnt as good. coming from bloodborne you'll be pretty comfy so it might not be very difficult

I liked it, it was worth one playthrough. I didn't like the fact that poise was gutted and vague. I didn't like it that having armor didn't really do anything as the difference between light and heavy armor was so minimal that you were gonna get killed in 4 hits regardless. So long as you wore minor clothes you got some base resistances and armor. Magic wasn't that great either.
