I got the entire kingdom hearts collection (other than 3's DLC) for 30 bucks total. Just started playing and never played a kingdom hearts game before... what am in in for?

Absolute kino in terms of gameplay if you get into the meta of it. Retarded but funny kino in terms of goofy stupid moments and the autistic story. I barely got into KH a few years back and I'm 24 and somehow I've been able to get into it despite the stupid premise.

Play crit starting 2 on. The game is absolutely fucking great if you play it on Critical, otherwise you’ll be mashing x to win and blast through it in a day and a half.

Try getting yourself used to higher difficulties except for DDD, enemies in that game are a bit too annoying, KH3 in particular is a fucking joke on anything that isn't Critical. And do the super bosses in 2, if you got enjoyment out of these super bosses then get 3's DLC

I played kingdom hearts 1 when it came out because my friend said that cloud and sephiroth are in it. Ff7 was my life back then, of course I bought this shit. Yeh it was an OK game but the highlights for me were the ff7 cameos. Never played or cared for any other KH game since then
