is it good? I haven't heard anything but the original got like a 90 on metacritic
>anything made on 2020
>soul
fuck off zoomer.
Yes it’s very good. They used the Dualsense incredibly well. Graphics and platforming are great
Why does everyone ignore Dreams
Too complicated when it was supposed to give entry level players easier tools to work with to make decent stuff. Instead it turned into turbo autism wiring.
>graphics worse than Mario Odyssey, a 2017 tablet game
lmaoing @ snoys lives
>>graphics worse than Mario Odyssey, a 2017 tablet game
You have no clue what you’re talking about. Nintendo has fried your brain friend
COPE. I'm watching the IGN review right now the graphics are WORSE than Mario Odyssey
Seek help
Yeah but eve if you don't make anything there's tons of cool stuff to play. I have not played a game so soulful since the first time I played Roblox.
>Yeah but eve if you don't make anything there's tons of cool stuff to play.
I disagree. There’s not nearly enough quality things to play for people that don’t create. It’s a great concept and has great tools but the entire thing falls apart when you realize it’s really difficult and time consuming to make something decent and worth playing.

>references to Ape Escape, Bloodborne, Resident Evil, and more
was it kino?
I think of it like a mix between LSD Dream Emulator and downloading random games off of itch.io
The silent hill one was kino
>They used the Dualsense incredibly well.
Will be the only game to use it this well.
Just as 1 2 Switch used HD Rumble the best and Nintendoland used the Wii U gamepad the best.
These sort of things always go underutilized.
I remember the astro lightbar PS4 game too.
>They finally made a game with SOUL
And of course, it was japan studio, something that sony western subsidiaries will never achieve
They should have packaged dreams pre built into every ps5 and added mouse and keyboard support for creation.
They do but a few new games are supporting it like call of duty which features varying haptic feedback on every gun. If a game that popular features it I think more developers will adopt it
I don't own a PS5 yet but the VR game is brilliant.
The series is really unassuming thanks to the tech demo nature of it. The characters are generic since they began life as Playroom avatars, the games aren't allowed to have a proper universe since they exist exclusively to show off control features and shill the Playstation, they rely on interactive features like VR and Dualsense that don't showcase well in a trailer. But holy shit they're charming and full of joy, you can tell it comes out of Japan Studio.
I really hope Sony finds more confidence in them and gives them a chance at a full blown game again. When they were tasked with making a new IP to sell the Dualshock and given a proper budget we got fucking Ape Escape out of it and Astro Bot proves they still know their shit.
>If a game that popular features it I think more developers will adopt it
Don't get your hopes up, 3rd parties will abandon it as fast as possible.
We might see some more 1st party games use it like the PS4 used the lightbar and touchpad at first, but will ultimately be ignored in the lifespan.
>I really hope Sony finds more confidence in them and gives them a chance at a full blown game again
The rumor is they’re making silent Hill
Yeah you’re probably right but it’s really a damn shame. HD rumble and the feedback in the dual sense is really good and adds to the experience. I just tried out some nba 2k and when you brush up against defenders the triggers lock up on you and feel heavy
And Bloomberg reported they haven't renewed many of their veteran employees' contracts and don't care about Japanese sales anymore, I don't really buy the Silent Hill rumor until I actually see it.
He cute alright.
As soon as I saw the amount of soul in this video I immediately realized there was 0 chance that this was made by a western studio. Looked it up and confirmed it's made by Sony Japan
Sony Japan & Sucker punch should be their premiere studios. Ghost of tshushima was really good and 100 times more fun than tlou2 or anything else naughty dog has shat out in the last decade. Bend is also promising since I enjoyed days gone
its basically full of gimmicks because its meant to show off the controller but it works and is actually pretty fun.
for a game thats supposed to be just a controller tech demo, its pretty good.
Does it also have PSVR? Also how is PSVR on PS5?
No clue but I would assume that Sony is created a wireless version for the ps5 based on patents
i want to fuck that robot
If Insomniac keeps putting games out at their current rate they're bound to replace Naughty Dog at some point.
Makes you think doesnt it
>preloaded
fuck off
it was a mastapiece. wish there were 5 more levels
Yeah, Sony is the only studio with verified shills on Zig Forums. I wouldn't touch this crap with a ten foot pole and I watched Wall-E like six times.
Sony Japan Studio has not made a single bad game to my knowledge. They're probably the most consistently good first-party studio out there but they don't really get much credit, especially since Sony has slowly leaned more and more towards focusing on western titles over time.
Astro is the only PS5 exclusive I give a shit about right now, granted that's because Sackboy & Miles are cross-gen.
>when you realize it's really difficult and time consuming to make something decent and worth playing
that's literally the first rule of any creative pursuit
To be fair the psvr one also has soul
Shitposters doesnt make it a bad game.
Played the VR rescue mission and that was a "wow" experience.
Like playing mario 64 for the first time
>being this noided
It's a shame that it's the only PSVR exclusive that looks worth a damn. If every good VR game was playable on the same set, then VR might be worth it, but even then, no point in getting Beat Saber on a system where you can't mod it.
>add-on
What's that?
