I prefer to do blind runs of games and muddle through it myself. That way when I "break through" and feel everythjng start to click it feels like an authentic accomplishment instead if just following a step by step guide from people who played it before me.

Sometimes games are too hard so I take a break then come back and realize I was doing it fundamentally wrong. Feels good to figure it out.

Terraria is a good example. I put like 100 hours into it before I figured out that melee attack speed also increases dig speed.

My friends and I just beat the game on classic. Felt good to get the Zenith. I'm gonna roll for a mage class when we try out master mode. It was really fun but after beating the game it felt satisfying and sad at the same time.

I wish I could forget Terraria so I could play it all again.

That sadness is realizing there's no vanilla content to use Zenith on.
Ultimately no matter how many final bosses you add, the last one will always be a sad end to your journey, because you have nothing to use it's drops on but bosses you've already beaten.

Are mods updated yet? I'm ready for another playthrough, but I want Thorium and my other favorites.

if you mean tmodloader being updated to 1.4 then no, they work at a snails pace so don't expect it to be done until mid-2021 at least

How do I prepare for the Empress of Light? I cheesed it with friends that used the pre-nerf Black Spot and the shield for instant turns when the update launched, but now I want to prove my worth and try for the Terraprisma solo.

Most likely it's not a bug, your arena walls are probably too far apart and Plantera is hitting a spot in the middle that's not recognized as jungle, making it go apeshit.

1. Get a flying mount. I hope you have one by now!
2. Get a broken melee weapon, preferably one with a lot of range. Hopefully you have something like that by now!
3. Get good at dodging her attacks. This should take a couple of attempts.

Most of the team are unironically depressed and/or trannies so it'd make sense that they have a non-existent workflow.

Is the nights edge worth using as your primary weapon after killing the wall of flesh?

I want to like melee, but some of the bosses straight up feel like they haven't been designed around melee.

They literally haven't, that's why true melee is considered a challenge run, all of the best melee weapons are ranged.

Zenith is a consolation-prize for melees and it's a projectile weapon.

I did it with hallowed armor set + master thief gear

SE is good, but you have to be a bit tismy with you positioning.

The modloader currently opens up the version of Terraria prior to Journey's End if you really wanna tool with it
