I really underestimated him as a literal who when I first him getting a spot in the game. He seems to be one hell of a unit
heard his dragon battles are really fucking hard. Do people even try the other options except to battle them to get them?

The battles are only hard of you try to fight them with Spear/Archers.
Once you can recruit Lothern Sea Guarfs and Princes they become much more manageble. And you can pretty much get Princes in Turn 5 or 6.

Lothern Sea Guards with Shields are the only good versions. Tankier than Spearwalls and can also shoot arrows before the enemy hits them. If you get Sisters later on you completely break the game especially when Imrik got all his buffs from dragons.

Not him but sisters are just simply the best archer unit in the game. I dont how strong they are for imrik though due to their innate magic resistance.

Oh ok, I thought for a second there you were talking about some 1337 strats that only worked with sisters. I'll buy that though, I saw legend of total war go sisters only and yeah, gotta be the strongest army ingame. doesn't help that they're pretty good in melee on top of it

Lothern Sea Guards with Shields have all superior stats compared to regular Spearchads. Spearchads are better if your ecenomy is garbage since Sea Guards cost almost double the upkeep.
Sisters murder armored as well as unarmored targets all the same with their arrows. Later on it becomes hard to deal with Grimgor if he gets BC and starts spamming Black Orcs. You basically combine the power of Heavy Arrowhead Archers with regular ones with Sisters.
I meant the buffs you get for fighting the Dragon and winning, Imrik gets permabuffs.

Alright that makes sense. wasn't aware LSG were that much more expensive. how the hell does imrik afford that given he's isolated and without much income because of it?
