Suggest me some hidden gems for the Vita. None of that AAA bullhonkey, some of that good and hidden shit.

All genres welcome.

honestly, I can't think of any actual vita games that are notable except for little big planet or gravity rush. I'd say just use it to emulate PSX and PSP games

if you like weebshit, pretty much every vanillaware game except aegis rim is on the vita, and they're all underrated as fuck

(if you don't like weebshit then why do you own a vita)

there is only one game worth playing

Helldivers. Still can play online and cross play with PS4 players.

Try Oreshika. It's a decent RPG with a generational mechanic and as far as I know it's still exclusive.

Super Stardust Delta
Superbeat Xonic
Taiko V Version
TxK
Soul Sacrifice Delta
Freedom Wars
Muramasa Rebirth
The best version of the best EDF game
>PSX
Don't try PSX unless input lag doesn't bother you, pretty much all of the games, even the PS Store classics suffer from pretty bad input lag
A shame because other than that they almost all work flawlessly
Less annoying if you're just playing slow paced 3d bullshit, but shmups and the like are nigh unplayable

Came here to post this. Also I'm still salty it never released physically in the west. It had cover art kino.

Vita was a fun system at the time but a lot of its notable games have been ported to other systems by now.

The lost child
Chaos rings

They released a Ys game for the Vita that was pretty sure, but I think they ported it to PC already.

Celceta, Lacrimosa and Origins were all on Vita, but yeah they're both available elsewhere now.

>Don't try PSX unless input lag doesn't bother you, pretty much all of the games, even the PS Store classics suffer from pretty bad input lag
Lies

I basically only use it as a PSP and PS1 emulator. I downloaded FFX, Romancing Saga 2, and Neptunia but I haven't really touched those as much.

>le hidden gems neckbeard
I hope that redit piece of shit fucks off. He doesn't even play the games he buys.

Absolute patrician.

>Freedom Wars
also, just emulate so that you can play PSP, PSX, NES, SNES, GB/C/Advance and soon Dreamcast games

Hows dungeon travellers?

>"hey guys, here's some STUPIDLY RARE and EXPENSIVE games for this console/handheld"
He somehow expects us to believe he doesn't want to raise prices to increase the value of his collection

Muramasa is as close to a hidden gem as you'll find. Sony really did not support the vita. Just put cfw on it and turn it into a mobile emulation console.

I wish. Games legit have 10-15 frames of input lag (under a 60fps standard), and it really sucks. Still, slower 3D games like Ace Combat work pretty well in spite of that, so the feature is not entirely worthless. Just don't expect to 1cc Zanac Neo or get amazing scores on Mr Driller G on a Vita.

>Dreamcast
Really? Which ones? I've only seen Crazy Taxi running on Flycast poorly.

based rinnegatamante doing the VITA community a favoir

I at least enjoy watching his vids. The guests he has on have good things to say and it opens me up to certain games I never heard of

IA/VT

They knew they were only making one and made it worth a damn unlike the Gumi one on PSP.

I like him aswell, he kind of reminds me of the neckbeard dude in the small vidyastores before gamestop came across

>hidden gems
There are plenty of vita games I'd have recommended but fuck "hidden gems"

I literally just got my vita in the mail today. Recommend me some games please user

Muramasa Rebirth is the number one "must own" now that P4G is ported get P4G on Vita anyway, fuck Steam

Proptip for fellow 1000 chads: Use IMCUnlock to create an internal memory card partition similar to the 2000/PSTV and truly be unchained from the proprietary memory card.

In the case of a system restore/reinstall/corrupted config.txt/etc (and anything else that may wipe your sd2vita setup) it'll be nice to have.

reviewers wanted to give it a low score, but it's waifu transformers. how can it be any less than 4/5?

???

I've played the original p4 on ps2 and I already bought p4g on steam to just support them. I'll definitely look into muramasa.

the wii version of muramasa has more soul, it's no gem

Is the vita version a remake of it?

It's literally the same game, only the Vita version has a slightly higher resolution and controls that aren't complete shit (once you map them properly) on top of relatively fun DLC that gets a bit grindy if you want all the true ends

Fuck off. It adds everything that said plus it has a brand new translation that's much better than the one the West got on Wii.

I've seen a lot of praise for the game. Will definitely pick it up when I get the chance
