I tried to read the CWCville comic. Very clearly Chris-chan has intelligence and a sense of humor, but I just can't figure out the point of his act. I'm bad with "ironically bad on purpose" stuff, if the comic be ironically bad.
But you can say that every writer has a Mary Lee Walsh, that while not on the level of macing an employee, everyone has had their autistic moments. Perhaps that is why Chris gets attention, because he is exceptional. Where most people would leave, he stays and sprays mace at the tabletop employees.
I see it with streamers like Asmongold and a lot of folks who get negative attention. It's this odd mix of jealously and disgust.
