You should level any role regardless but Ichiban excels at physical jobs.
Basically any job is good and it's always a plus to level one, just experiment and go wild.

Can someone tell me how 民自党 has been translated into english? It's the party Aoki, Ogikubo etc belong to. It's a more than obvious reference to the real life 自民党 also known as the Liberal Democratic Party in english. If the translation is just a similar kind of flip (Democratic Liberal Party?) I feel it might cause a lot of misunderstanding in audiences not familiar with Japanese politics as LDP is very much a conservative party regardless of it's name.

On Normal difficulty you can pretty much use the jobs you want at anytime, just as long as the party as a whole is balanced. In any case you should give each job at least the first 10-15 levels since they're very quick to level up and you get useful skills and stat boosts that transfer between jobs. The game is built to encourage you fooling around with the jobs.

Musician isn't that great theres a lot of skill overlap and it's kinda the class with no real good shit, dependency on an extra meter while all ither classes just work on their own without extra management. Filling that voltage bar is rng dependent and doesnt carry over.
If you have devil rocker dlc, that shit is awesome.
Musician should still be leveled fornthe mp absorb skill.

What bothers me the most about it is that the whole planting seeds system is completely useless, since you can just straight up buy the needed flowers and pretty much clear each "romance" in a minute. What little gameplay (if you can call planting and waiting gameplay) there was in connection to the romance has no point at all. At least the girls are cute...
