It's meh. It's literally the same thing as the original. It has some qol stuff, and I guess it looks pretty, but that's it. I'd rather just play the original since the FromSoft's art direction hasn't been tampered with.

Art direction IS bad, but it's perfectly fine since it's the same game otherwise with great loading. They fucked up by not fixing small aspects of gameplay to make it more serviceable post-dark souls. Nothing crazy, just to make it less stiff since their brutal doom modding is massively 'nobody cares' tier changes. Ideally they would have changed the ONE thing that everyone would have been happy changing, that being the dragon god boss fight; fucked that they didn't.

It failed to make me want to get a ps5, I just played it through complete at a friends.
