Man there were like a good 3 months where all I did was play Dark Cloud 1 and 2 and smoke weed all day it was pretty sweet. Good games, no desire to ever play them again. Spheda is a god tier mini game but the fishing is needlessly difficult and the racing is just an overly long unskippable cutscene

The grinding in Dark Cloud was oddly engaging to me, the second more than the first tho. The first does have too many characters, with really only a few of them actually being good.

Took me a while to realize what you meant by racing, I completely forgot about that fishes nonsense

Dark Cloud is based as fuck but I don't know why it was ever compared with OOT Sony Marketing probably fucked over a lot of kids with that shit

God this game is such a let down after both of the dark cloud games being so good.

I preferred it in 1 since you could enter dark zones pretty easily and go full autism, it did have too many characters though, but thanks to how forging worked you could just make a really good weapon, break it at 5, then trade it around

I bought this piece of shit because I heard it was even better than the other two and holy fuck it's like a completely different studio made it full of people who have no fucking idea how video games work.

I quit playing at the one on one fight between the big dog guy and the dude who kills you in 2 hits, plus the story was shit and getting on my nerves anyway

atleast you can catch bugs and play chess with them or something

I played this a year ago to full completition, it was pretty darn fun, and now I wasnt a brainlet like a decade ago where I couldn't understand shit.
I also bought 2 but I havent played it yet
