Why not play it and form your own opinion instead of asking for one to be given to you before even starting it?
Zig Forums hates this game. Get off here and go play it. It's phenomenal.
A really long ass game with one of the most bloated, diluted, repetitive scripts of all time.
Actually good turn based combat, only second to SMT. Some decently fun characters and cute girls. Good story overall but peaks at the very beginning and the final arc. Final boss is kino. Make sure you hang out with the counselor and get him to rank 9 to unlock the true ending.
>What am I in for?
Censorship. You bought the inferior version stuffed with filler and it's balls removed.
Best JRPG of the generation
For real?
Royal is notably better than the original release.
Spoilers unless you don’t care about that. Get off here till you’re done.
A very long game.
>Royal is notably better than the original release.
You're right, homophobia and a tighter pace were really holding it back.
any reason for someone who already played the original to get this?
Are you talking about those two gay guys that got a total of 30 seconds on screen? I remember in vanilla they were kinda gay but I got to the same part in Royal recently and they were still gay
Its good but
>to ez even on hard
>too many unnecessary new mechanics
>party member locked out till very last palace
>dlc personas are free and op and can be used from the beginning
>story gets boring after 2nd palace but picks up when you get to the casino palace
The pacing is better in Royal, it letting you do more during story segments where you would otherwise be going to bed every night give it a better balance between gameplay and story. The gay guys are also gay caricatures that Ryuji runs away from in either release, the only difference is they want to dress him up in one and not the other, I don't remember which is which.
I'd say if you're interested in replaying it and there's been a long enough time since you played the original release, it's worth playing. I enjoyed Royal even more than the original release, but I had three years between playthroughs.
A waste of time and waste of money. Persona is absolute dogshit, 80% reading, 20% gameplay, it is only liked be incels who missed out on highschool life. The only good SMT games and spin-offs are:
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Shin Megami Tensei V
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
The truth hurts, deal with it.

Plus all the new story content is better in comparison to the story in the original version.
100 hour game with a lot of story but really good combat system
yes its fun if you havent played persona 5 since it release.
my bird bride
Wait I thought black Friday was after Thanksgiving. Does Thanksgiving even exist anymore?
If you want to do another playthrough then definitely, if you're sick of P5 then don''t bother
80% visual novel, 20% gameplay
there exists early sales
Unironically the perfect balance.
Not your fucking blog, faggot.
Too bad it's tacked on and feels like an after thought to the majority of the game's themes.
Wouldn't be a problem if the dialogue wasn't 100x more pointless and padded than even the most bland VN. How the fuck did Atlus get away with this?
Not when the story is as bad as it is in P5.
The same song/melody used 100+ times.
> game's themes.
The game is such a shallow narrative turd, that it's literally impossible to make it any worse.
Ever played a Telltale game and felt like you were watching a movie more than you were playing an actual game?
Get ready to feel that again.
Economies of rape and rape inflation
I'd say it feels in keeping with the game's themes. Most of the conflict in the game is between the PTs and someone trying to control their lives in some way that they oppose, and they did the same with the new content but made it someone well meaning rather than the outright villanous antagonists that you have for the rest of the game. The new content has the same kind of conflict that is already shown throughout the game but puts its own spin on it to separate it from the rest, but it doesn't separate itself so much to no longer be in keeping with that theme of the PTs wanting to control their own lives.
It would if the story were good
I doubt they fixed it but Makoto social link/romance is awful. Go for Haru or Takemi
>smt3 remaster
>good/better than the PS2 version
Unironically hang yourself faggot, SMTV isn't even out yet
Oh I get that. My point was more from how little it relates to the overarching conflict. It feels like a filler OVA that goes in a completely different direction even if it does have the same structure and general base mindset.
Any news on a PC release or is it never going to happen?
How doesn't it relate to the overarching conflict in terms of theme if its in keeping with the same kind of themes that have been shown throughout the game but doing its own spin on them? I would understand not feeling its in keeping with the lot of the rest of the game seeing as it feels only tangentially related to the stuff with Shido and Yaldabaoth, but thematically I think it fits with the rest of the game fine and I wouldn't describe it as going in a completely different direction at all.
pcbab lol
You're going to meet the most wonderful girl.
I love my wife Anne.
I'm so pissed that I missed out on 13 Sentinels for $30 because Best Buy doesn't know how to properly adjust prices until a day later. I gave up when seeing everything being sold for $59.99 at checkout.
Awesome to see you are still alive and not permabanned. BB Guy.
I think it will eventually happen but how long that's going to take I have no idea
Doesn't matter, he will solo carry the entire game and my cock.
