I've seen videos of a 300€ PC run that game at 1080p / 60fps, at slightly better settings than the consoles. Consoles have never been more obsolete.

Playing at 1080p, Mix of high/ultra at 1440p scaling, (and advanced settings turned on/up higher for nice distant views etc), I get about 56 fps average, which on a free sync monitor still feels like 60. Far superior to console.

Then you start to play and the fram rate stutters. Shadows start acting wierd so you google it and apprantly it's related to the API so you switch from dx12 to vulcan. Then you graphics card drivers say they need to be updated so the next update causes issues again with shadows.

I love pc gaming but don't expect to show a fucking screenshot and say case closed. At least post a webm or something.

I'd get a PC if there was like a "Standard Model" made up of parts that are reasonably priced and future proofed and not going to have any compatibility issues, that I could just buy and play games on without having to worry about drivers and stuff.
I don't really have any loyalty to the brand but I play on PS4 because my friend does. My friend probably isn't fussed enough to get a new gaming PC, so if I could go to him with a reasonably priced build and say 'this is easy to get and will last longer than a PS5' he might be more likely to consider it.
