I just want a fucking purely PVE mode with custom servers, dammit.
Zig Forums's thoughts on Tarkov?
I want
>Better fucking servers
>No more skills
don't care, just waiting for Stalker 2. Who cares about shooting random gopniks in fictional russian PUBG town
It's good. But if you want purely pve it won't happen for a while. I could see them cranking something out after tarkov though. They have a really cool engine
Terrible gunplay with retarded recoil unless you spend 300k on attachments or just single fire
git gud
its just unity. there's nothing unique about it. you can literally see the unity skidmarks all over it
>improper lighting baking and general lighting issues
>awkward object physics
>sound travels weirdly and incorrectly
i knew something felt eerily familiar when i started playing it, and its weird isms reminded of rust, immediately.
I'm better than you.
Fuck this shit. Running worse on every patch. It's literally unplayable now so I dropped it for now. I load too late and sometimes I have lag spikes which lead to DEATH. Looting is fun but when you get droped and lose your gear all the time it's tiring and annoying.
1v1 me on rust quick scope only
half the time i can't even tell where im being shot from. i've got hundreds of hours across arma 2 and 3, which i mistakenly assumed would help me discern shit better in engagements, but i guess i was dead wrong.
i just want a pvp arena where i play with guns without spending days grinding
redpill me. Is it another broken "survival" royale walking simulator?
its dayz, but not open world, no base building and no zombies. so if you like endless pvp, you'll enjoy it. if you don't, you won't like it.
just install anomaly
Same autism but no cheaters
Nah, that won't happen. The devs are retarded. Much like the Insurgency Sandstorm devs, they are sitting on something decent, but will never do something actually good because of incompetence.
Your best bet is for modders to take over somehow, or the game's source code to leak.
It's a good idea developed by shittards.
They only care about streamers.
Like only streamers play that game and like it's normal to play 11h x day.
If you have a family/friends/things to do, well, go play something funnier.
FFS
>he doesnt remember when arma 2 dayz had the same issue
bsg is probably just trying to make a resurgence of that era of the internet
Because this russian dogs instead of fixing game they decide to make biggest almost certainly most bugged MAP to ever exist.
Got it as a gift a long time ago. I remember playing only on Cutoms and Factory because everytime I went to Shoreline I lost connection.
A pve mode would be great. Maybe they'll do it if Stalker 2 has some kind of succes among streamers.
sounds just never line up. i've had my squadmates fire right behind me and it doesn't even seem to place the shots correctly. its like the players ears are farther away than the actual body.
Sometimes it's so bugged one can hear sounds other don't. I even some some yt vids about it.
thats retarded, but its what i expect from unity.
It's fun, but it can be insanely frustrating to get pasted by some asshole out of nowhere without any idea if he simply had a better position or if he was hacking. Labs is almost unplayable unless you're a top tier player who can outwit hackers. 7/10. I have to take breaks every few weeks
i love it but damn do i wish i had friends to play it with. it basically got me into guns and modding them. its fun but also a swift kick to the nuts.
dude, this.
I'm waiting for pve so I can just stop using wallhacks on pvp.
Happens to every1
a ive would be great. the quests suck, can i just say how repetitive some of them are? like hey drop this tracker off in front of resort and two other places but also here’s another quest: drop this tracker off in front of resort and the other places. come on
Same. I'm at the point where I just do rat runs at Interchange and hit the caches to make money to fund a gearset big enough to go 1v3.
dude interchange is so cool. it reminds me of my work and warehousing like i just picture all the different maps they could do. anyway ratting is basically the best way to play and i think it’s only because of how brutal every load out matters when you load in as a pmc. like you’re not gonna see that shit ever again if you lose it
Ratting is just so satisfying too. I COULD fight that super-jacked dude and get his decked HK with no ammo and fucked-up armor giving me a net profit of fuck-all, or I could spend the entire game scurrying around and observing enemies to sneak past them, and end up escaping with three Paracord and a graphics card among other things.
I love Interchange as well, I think the urban decay aesthetic rules and I'm really excited for Streets. I hope it'll be like a dilapidated suburb instead of just storefronts though.
If the game actually gets "finished" they'll need to find a way around the issue of people reaching getting lots of money/gear and not really having anywhere to go.
Would you really care about most loot if you're rich and have plenty of gear?
I played for a few months and never really "got good" but a month or two after each wipe most players are fucking stacked
how much do player stats factor into combat? I really don't like the idea of a realistic shooter having fucking RPG mechanics especially in a high stakes game like Tarkov.
I would play it again if it had a PvE mode, getting killed by some completely overgeared guy out of nowhere and not at least having free starter gear every time sucks.
Just fucking play Hunt.
It's also shit tho, however it's less shit than this steaming shit. And even cheaper.
i think it matters a lot and it is incredibly grindy
you will never be a woman
>sound travels weirdly and incorrectly
But Tarkov uses Steam Audio from Valve
