Just think how great these games would have been today if someone put a leash Nomura and had him write all the games with the same style and charm he did with the first game before he went full retard.
And if Billy Zane was still voicing Ansem.

I miss Billy...
KH legitimately seems like something where they gave Nomura full creative control to do whatever the fuck he wants as long as he kept shilling Disney. Almost like a monkey's paw for him.
Kingdom Hearts II would have had the perfect ending if the last cutscene was just fifteen minutes of sora pounding kairi into the sand there I said it
Fact:
The reason Xehanort was able to use Terra's Heartless like that is because it was actually his "Cum Guardian" (hence why he said it), and what it was really trying to do is make sure no one gets close enough to suck Terra's body to suck his dick, thereby ensuring Aqua doesn't fuck Terra-Xehanort and ensuring it's impossible for him to get cucked.
there is some great gay shit of this lewd dude. really, the more autistic the series the more good material
Why do people always say that the story and writing is horrible but the gameplay is amazing? As someone who has never played the games why does no one like the story.
Imagine a sequel which was just a recap clip show of a previous game, interspersed with at most an hour and a half of a new plot entirely told through conversations with individual isolated members of the villain group and boss fights, most of which is backloaded into the game's climax. Got all that memorized?
That describes AT LEAST three separate canonical games in this series.
Story is messy but gameplay is fun, there.
>Kairi enraptured as Sora slams it into her
>Suddenly, she feels a presence, her whole body going numb
>Sora leans in close to her ear, and whispers something
>Kairi begins to shake in horror, the voice coming from Sora does not belong to him
>Sora rears his head back, and bellows
>ZETTAFLARE
>>Sora leans in close to her ear, and whispers something
>>Kairi begins to shake in horror, the voice coming from Sora does not belong to him
>>Sora rears his head back, and bellows
I'M ALREADY HALF XEHANORT
>messy
You're being way too kind. It's a complex TOODEEP4U shitshow.
>why does no one like the story.
They're too afraid to admit they like it because they don't want to look "cringe."
Nomura is a legit hack writer. He needs to stick to director and gameplay and stay the fuck away from story and script.
>sora just bucking into kairi full force
>she can't decide which is more potent, the pain or the pleasure
>as sora begins to peak over the edge he shouts
MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER
The only games I'd recommend is the first three games, and CoM is skippable. The story is actually good in my opinion, especially by the time 2 came around. Gameplay wise there's no action game quite like KH, and 2FM is unironically kino when it comes to boss design and one of the most well designed action games for high difficulty. You have to go through multiple kinds of hell to finish the post game on LV1 Crit and it's never stupid unfair cancer. Everything after 2 goes to shit instantly on every front possible and is not worth anyone's time.
I like the story because I love schlock and this is basically anime schlock.
I just want proper resolutions. I do not want Nomura to dial back any of the insanity, I don't think Kingdom Hearts can work with traditional story beats and values. It lives and breathes within its goofiness. But you gotta reign in stuff like killing Nobodies returns them to being Somebodies or whatever it is, because then why do the Nobodies care about dying? KH3's ending is also something that an editor should have scrapped. Xehanort gets to go cross over in peace, with Sora outright admiring him? That's fucking ridiculous.
I've never seen KH as trying to be deep. You're mistaking Nomura's contrivances for 2deep4u.
KH is just dumb fun. If you take a step back you might enjoy it more.
KH1 the story was pretty straight forward and easier to follow. Then it turned into you have 180 different people living inside your heart and blah blah blah. If you split your heart and soul and if you wish on a star etc.
KH1 was fine. CoM was a rehash Disney-wise, but otherwise okay.
KH2 is where the mishandling of Disney worlds became the norm, Beast and Tron excluded, and the OCs were mostly uninteresting aside from Roxas. There's also a lot of plot convenience ("Gosh, I wonder if Riku will ever change back." -changes back 5 minutes later-) and the story feels like it's spinning its wheels a lot, but the presentation of worlds and boss battles helped pick up the slack in a number of places.
Everything after that just started becoming shit because of Nomura's insistence upon adding a gorillian new characters in every game rather than building on the ones that already exist. The Organization are mostly a bunch of cardboard cutouts, but lets make Kairi with Black Hair and have the game be all about her instead.
At the very least I'm hopeful for the future if it really is going to focus more on Final Fantasy-esque shit. That's what MoM implies.
I think Nomura is trying to move away from Final Fantasy. Auron wasn't even in Olympus in MoM.
Whole ending of MoM discusses going to another dimension referred to as everything but a "Fantasy World."
>Unreality
>Fictional world
Maybe I'm being too hopeful, but it could potentially explain how FF characters got to Disney worlds in the first place.
They're mostly natural occupants, particularly the ones in Destiny Island and Radiant Garden. The main exception is Auron, who is intended to be the same character who was literally sent to the afterlife.
So you're saying you don't see Nomura coming up with some convoluted drivel connecting FF characters to the "Fantasy World?"
They already have time shenanigans, too.
Get back to me in 2024 when KH4 comes out.
Wasn't Nomura told to make the series more complex by higher ups after KH1?
That still doesn't forgive him for the slap in the face that was KH3's ending or one-note characters being shoehorned into the main cast nonstop so they can steal focus from the original ones.
>explain how FF characters got to Disney worlds in the first place
The weakest of mindsets and the seed from where cancer begins.
The point was always "hey that's a cool idea let's do it", never to be taken truly seriously. Autistic fans who took it way too seriously are what made them take it into such a direction later on.
KH1 still has the most soul out of any of the games because it's just a silly idea of combining disney with final fantasy and building a game around it, not inside of it.
>Autistic fans who took it way too seriously are what made them take it into such a direction
I'd blame Nomura and Nomura alone. This is his wild ride, and I don't see his autism being influenced by the fans' autism.
>The weakest of mindsets and the seed from where cancer begins.
Nomura has been trying to flesh out KH lore for awhile now. KHUX, Foretellers, the beginning of all worlds, it only makes sense he would explain it. Not necessarily saying that's a good thing or bad thing, but it seems like the next logical step.
>The point was always "hey that's a cool idea let's do it", never to be taken truly seriously.
I don't know man, sounds like you're taking it pretty seriously.
The gameplay was fun in KH1. KH2 was ok I guess. I bought KH3 on release but I still have not opened it. I don't even know where I put it.
Imagine if Kingdom Hearts never existed, and young boys and girls did not develop crushes by proxy on a fictional character.
He is kinda shit but also brilliantly creative and does come up with very cool things
Nomura needs someone to help shape his ideas, also a fucking editor to take out the crap and make the pacing better
