Drakengard 3

Probably the best available answer.

The last of us 2

New Vegas once I reach the Hidden Valley bunker.

splatoon 2

Just experienced this with Mario Sunshine, and after getting all 120 Shine Sprites.

dwarf fortress

EYE Divine Cybermancy is the reverse of this. Except when you're forced to do hacking.

>what I wanted
Pika!
>what I got
Chu.....

nevermind forget splatoon this is the correct answer. I've tried to play this game like 8 times

Noita.

>Remember run where I got a good wand and actually had fun
>End up playing the first 3 levels a dozen times trying to get anything usable

DMC3 near the end.

This and Rome 1.

I used to fucking love them but I just can't go back no matter how hard I try. I think way too much time in paradox games makes you realize how shallow most mechanics in TW are, especially shit like diplomacy which simply doesn't work at all.

Attached: file.png (256x363, 238.77K)

Haha toxic and fire and lightning everywhere!
It's fun until you realize how shallow it is and how easy it is to make the battlefield look like D-day to fuck your opponents. I have to deliberately choose what not to use so I can have a challenge. The first one didn't feel so "I'm a God, you are mere mortals" to me.

bots, retarded team mate, getting wrecked even though you have thousands of hours, unable to play maps or modes you want
There are so many ways for this game to annoy you

I was playing an arena server in TF2C and some fags were vote banning people for trying to play and not do their stupid meme shit

Really? You play that much that even before reaching the Strip/Gun Runners takes you out? Maybe hop onto 3, or Oblivion. Those get me in the mood after a few runs on those.

Pokemon Yellow

Any game when I'm near the end.

zelda breath of the wild, it's not bad, but it's very depressing

I feel that way about a lot of the old classics, it is what it is, you can't play them forever. I still have a lot of fun with Warhammer II these days.

Minecraft.

Underrail for me, just played it too much. I have a better time just playing it in my mind and skipping the tedious parts.

I've yet to play any of the newer ones, should I try Warhammer 1 or skip it for 2?

Fire emblem thracia 776

But that's one of the best parts of the game.

FFXIV. Every now and then I get an urge to resub during the in-between patch periods, but then immediately regret it when the gear/roulette treadmill burnout kicks in

Fire Emblem 4
Best story in the series and has really cool mechanics, but the game is just too slow

Attached: King of the Jugdral.jpg (446x299, 33.17K)

Dragon's Dogma

depressing because of the story?

The first time was alright, felt unique. Subsequent playthroughs like the one I'm on now just gives me aids when ai reach that quest. Playing a high elf who has shit strength (I went to the Isles first) and it was God awful anytime I got the addiction debuffs.

I'm changing this into a
>That Part
Thread.

Skip it for 2 absolutely; if you own the original all of the content is included in 2, so try to grab both on a sale or creamapi. Also be aware that it is very much fantasy and has monsters and magic and shit; you have to let go of muh historical accuracy, but if you do it's great.

This. Tried to force myself to enjoy vidya for 5 years now without much success

God I love Nocturne. I imagine the original Japanese is so much harder. Once you can fuse Daisoujou the game becomes too easy.

Any bethesda game. I come up with ideas I want to do or lore/easter egg thing to find. But then I play it and it is just bland, so I uninstall...and then start thinking of it again.

Wind Waker

the fiend battles are pretty much the only hard part of nocturne, I can't really see it being that much worse without the maniax stuff

One day I'll get around to playing BotW and I know I'll be disappointed after all the hype it got. Weapon durability alone makes me seethe just like Dark Cloud.

I fucking hate Hightower so much. It's literally the most retarded map in the entire game, full of autistic people doing meme shit and seething/calling you tryhard for actually pushing the paypload, just like you said.

Hollow Knight just last week

This, hear how everyone loves it, load it up, get bored within a few hours. Last time I played was the furthest, escorted some bitch all the way to some tower or w/e, but couldn't get in so I'd have to run all the fucking way back. Didn't intend to stop there but I didn't bother continuing.

At least you're prepared to be disappointed

Megaman battle network blue anytime you came across a bridge where you needed the compression program

FFXIV

It's always everyone jerking off the magic system and post the tornado webm to no end but never mention that it's high level you only start out with shitty TES tier fireballs to fart at things.

what parts?

literally any multiplayer game nowadays

Fallout New Vegas.

It's probably because I'm so use to fusing Dai and pretty much having nonstop free heals that I don't really have to strategize anymore. Plus I always evolve Koppa to Kurama and Onkot to Wu Kong and run with those 3 the majority of the game.

I've tried TW games several times and can never figure out the battles.
Like in Rome 1 for example, starting as any of the Roman factions, I'll expand pretty easily for a while and then run into the faggots with huge spears from the Greeks or the Germans and don't know what to do.
Your infantry gets mauled in a direct fight, your cavalry obviously does even worse, I never have enough archers to take out entire armies, and even pinning them from one side and then charging from another never seems to work.
This is just on the normal difficulty.
What is the actual strat to beat spearfaggots? I haven't watched any guides because fuck that shit man but I've given up more or less on figuring out an effective counter. I guess arrows are the best option I have.

Got the game in early 2017, with big expectations. Ended 2017 with all those expectations crushed and by 2018 I only played during the events because i'm an autistic collectionist. Eventually abandoned the game by half 2018 once you realize you're not happy for winning but relieved that you didn't lose. That's how frustrating this piece of shit is. The fact Blizzard are big Ch*na #1 faggots isn't even the worst thing of how they ruined a promising game and turned it into hot steaming garbage.

Any patch that doesn't end in x.0

Quake Champions

Yeah one day I might also get further than just a few hours into Dragon's Dogma. From what I play each time it never captured my attention.

>Preferring Fallout 3 and Oblivion over FNV
I have some BAD news, user

I think this game was great for the first 3 months and then hit terminal volicty while descending into shit.

I was suggesting other 'thesda games to mod and fuck around when you're burnt out on New Vegas, there's no implication that I think any of those games are better than New Wegas.
